Warther Cutlery Chef Knife Set

These are my favorite knives. The blade is as sharp as a razor and the handle is well-made and sturdy. It's obviousthese are handmade knives. Each knife carries a free lifetime sharpening. I have several top-of-the-line cutlery brandsand this Warther knife is by far the best. I also purchased the chef's knife as a gift for a friend of mine who is a gourmetcook and it is now her favorite knife. As an aside, if you're ever in Dover, OH, please take time to visit the Warther Museumand Factory. The history behind this man and company is quite interesting and well-worth the visit.

These knives are very well made and very sharp. They are a pleasure to use. I value them being made in the USA by the same family for generations.

Didnt buy it here, I bought mine where they manufacture them, in Dover, Ohio. I wasnt sure about this knife at first look. They just look boring to me, albeit well crafted. that was until I got it home and used it. Wow, this knife is fantastic. Im somewhat of an amature chef and have used a lot of knives in my 45 years and this is by far the smoothest knife Ive ever used. Light and well balanced and it cuts like a laser. I have a German knife, 2 Japanese knives and several others from various backgrounds and I pick this one 1st every time. The only time I dont use it is for big rips through boned meat, as I have a cleaver for that or if it needs sharpening, only then will I grab another knife. Do yourself a favor and find one of these and buy it.

I have Hinkles Knives I bought in Germany & they are very good but the Warther knives out perform them in every way

I wore those knives are pretty good because how I know cuz the is there made from where I live. If you ever get the chance to come to Dover Ohio go to the warther museum see all the carvings then go to the the to the knife shop by your knives.
