I have a very small apartment and a ginormous collection of shoes. I needed something slim enough to fit in my tiny little hallway closet and yet have high enough distance between shelves to place the shoe space savers to hold even more shoes than described. And I'm glad to say it worked. I now have a shoe shelf slim enough to fit in my closet and I can fit six pairs of shoes per shelf (with the help of shoe space savers). Assembly was a little bit of a pain because they gave a tiny monkey wrench and about two dozen screws. Thank god I have a collection of larger monkey wrenches in my tool box. As to the longevity of this shelf it's hard to say. The members that make it up are very thin, however it is bamboo which is quite strong. You definitely can't lean on this while you put your shoes on.

This fits perfectly in a narrow spot that I had in my bedroom. Since I'm the only one that's going to see it, I don't care that it's not the highest quality furniture, I just needed something to get the shoes off the floor and it does that quite well at a reasonable price. It is made of bamboo, but it has a high gloss cheap finish on it that I don't particularly care for and the screw heads are all exposed although they are sunken. Putting it together wasn't too bad. I was happy to see they gave me a few extra screws because a couple of them had burrs on them so they wouldn't fit down into the hole nicely. I looked over the shelves before assembling because the finish on one side sometimes didn't look as good the other side, with drips or other finishing flaw. I kept the good sides facing up and the best looking shelf went on top. All in all I'm pretty happy with this unit, since it was one of the few I found with dimensions that would fit my space. And now 18 pairs of shoes are neatly stored! One last thing, it does have a strong chemical smell coming out of the box, so if you are sensitive to that you may need to let it air out a bit first.

4.5 stars. I bought this for our entryway. I looked at a bunch of much more expensive options, but liked that this was more tall than wide, and that it looked nice (plus the price point was low enough I wasn't worried about having to replace it in a few months if I decided I hate it).It looks very nice against the wall next to our front door. It holds about 3 pairs of my husbands shoes per shelf, and 4 of mine. It seems plenty sturdy for shoes--but I wouldn't ever want to use it as a shelf for anything heavier.There are a couple of places where obviously no sanding was done--but once it was together and in place, you can't tell. I had it assembled in less than 30 minutes and no additional tools were even required--just the allen wrench that came with it.

There are six of us living here, 5 of which are women. Shoes are being taken off and put back on all day, so I feel like we've put it through a lot already. That being said, it is holding up wonderfully! Even though it's very lightweight, it feels very strong. It was also super easy to put together and came with the tool to do it. We've been able to fit almost all of our shoes on it and I'm ordering another one for the back door for the rest of the shoes!

Arrived broken in multiple places. Look like someone had thrown broken pieces into a box. Also very flimsy material. Returning.

It came with the tool and screws needed. Fairly easy to put together, just took a little balancing. It’s super sturdy and well made. Very happy with this purchase

Takes awhile to put together when your doing by yourself but it’s the perfect size .. it fit 15 pairs of shoes

Great shoe rack! Very sturdy and easy to put together. It only took about ten minutes to screw together. Feels sturdy even full of shoes. Doesn’t take up much space, and holds all of my shoes! I took the photo before I filled it with shoes, but even now that’s it’s all full it still feels strong. Great value for the what I paid! I was expecting it to be much flimsier, but when screwed together, it is really sturdy!
