I bought these because of the size and price. They're okay but not as good as I had hoped. They will start a fire and that's what they're for. However they don't seem to work as well as a magnifier as I expected. Tried using one for map reading and they didn't work very well. Still a 4 star product in my opinion.

Start fires make small print visible helps remove hard to see splinters all these things were field tested.

Ok so I know that most people think of a true magnifying glass when thinking of a firestarter and not some thin and flimsy piece of plastic. Exactly what I thought but very surprised with these lenses. Package shipped via USPS and arrived promptly. I had to wait a few days to a week for a good sunny day for testing, but worth the wait. I was able to start a fire using both natural tinder, char cloth, and charred wood all by using one of these lenses. I will say that if you use an Altoids tin for a storage box that some minor trimming is needed.
