I use this product (I purchased three) for low level lighting on a dining room table. Great mood lighting. I used 8-hr unscented tea candles and they provided a nice, soft illumination. I got best results when I elevated the candles about 1-1/2 inches above the base of the holders. The maker Dehanna is obviously both an artist and skilled tradesperson in the glass-blowing craft. Make sure you check out their website because they sell other stuff than appears on a quick search of Amazon.

The item arrived much sooner than expected and in perfect condition. I have other hand-blown glass pieces, but this is beyond spectacular! Because it was a bit of a stretch on my budget, I considered this purchase for weeks. It is aptly named; the colors are true to the picture, but even more interesting and it has a weighted bottom( which you can't really tell from the pictures). It is an absolutely gorgeous, stunning piece. It sits on a glass shelf, with a LED large votive in my newly renovated powder/guest bath. I would definitely buy this again!
