This 3rd edition of the text is aligned with the current version of the standard (ie 4th Edition of the Program Management standard). Every chapter is thoroughly covered, including relevant content from the PgMP examination Content Outline as well. It is clearly written by actual program managers who manage real programs. The biggest asset of this book is that each chapter (covering each of the 5 domains of the PgMP standard) contains 20 questions (testing your knowledge of the standard, as well as scenario based questions).On top of this, there are a whopping 170 questions testing your knowledge of the standard as well as an additional 170 question set that is designed as a mock exam. All of these questions are high quality questions in that detailed explanations are provided for every one. The learning that is possible in attempting and reviewing these questions cannot be understated. I used this book as part of my preparation, and I successfully sat for and passed my PgMP certification exam in December 2020. This book was a critical part of my success and if you are seriously contemplating the PgMP this is an essential book in my opinion.
