I bought a cheap plastic one of these for a tiling project and liked how it worked, but it cracked after only a few uses. I wanted one that would actually last, and I came across this one that's made out of metal. It definitely seems much more durable than the plastic one and the screws actually hold in place without slipping.Check out the picture of the etching too. The numbers and measuring lines are etched into the tool, not painted on, so they should last forever. Overall very happy I have this tool for my next project.

My husband and I love DIY projects, but it is often hard to get the perfect cut. This makes it effortless and it is very user-friendly. It is nice and compact for easy storage or to keep in your tool belt. I also like the ebook that gives you tons of uses for this tool. Definitely, a must have for DIY'ers. My brother who is in the contractor business saw it and wants one. It looked good, it felt sturdy, and the measurements were etched in the metal...but not only weren’t there any instructions for use, the vendor won’t supply any.I was told..send an email, and I did. The response was: Amazon doesn’t allow us to provide you a link to instructions, but you can find them on you tube.Sorry, that doesn’t work for me, especially when there are other vendors with similar products that do provide instructions for use. So, If you know how to use these, I think they’ll work fine...if you don’t, you’re on your own.

Where can I start with this! I love the black sleek look rather than all the yellow cheap ones. This one is very sturdy and amazing quality. It's helped me a ton with various projects I have around the house and it's not a hassle to use. But on top of that, the ebook they sent me was great too! Got a whole bunch of new ideas on how to put this into more use 🙂 satisfied!

Great tool...takes the math figuring out of angles away. This tool is well made and does a great job in making the difficult cuts on counter tops, floors, etc. Strongly recommend this tool as an addition to your toolbox.

The ruler is as advertised good quality construction! The pen however doesn't work!!! It just doesn't write on anything!! Big let down with that. I paid extra to get the pen otherwise the same ruler is $5 cheaper.

A high-quality tool that is super useful around the house. I love that you can manipulate it to be the size and shape you need and that it's so easy to use.
