Small, beautiful cover, perfect conceal and carry Bible lol
Pros: I was looking for a small, nice quality Bible I could carry in my purse to mass, this is perfect. I like to have the Bible so I can read more than just mass readings, this gives me more context and I feel a better connection to the meaning and message. This Bible has a pretty cover, the material feels like real leather, not sure if it is.Cons : The wording doesn't match exactly with the missalet but it's as close as I've come so far. I wish it had a zipper since I carry it in my purse.Overall : pleased with the quality, perfect for my needs.

Bible
This small bible is serving it's purpose. Naturally I enjoy the simple English vocabulary, but it is small enough to fit into the glove compartment of any car. We always carry a bible in our cars. My husband and I use our travel times to and from town to do a lot of talking that we wouldn't otherwise do at home being that we are both very busy. Our conversations oftentimes turn to Bible passages, or Bible stories as they relate to everyday living and we can reach for this bible easily from the glove compartment. It takes up little room. I like the binder that folds over and latches, protecting the book itself. It is durable and attractive. You won't be disappointed.

Great translation & compact size, but has a lot of room for improvement!
I bought this NASB because my first love had actually been a compact NASB that my aunt left behind after visiting when I was in middle school. 10 years later, I'm 90% sure this isn't the same version, but it still fits the same purpose: a lightweight, compact Bible that I can take around with me and read daily.- The cover is slightly softer than the Zondervan Thinline I previous wore down, and better quality (less obvious texturing, more of a supple faux leather) but still stiffer than the Crossway ESV I have.- The binding on the particular product I received is off -- the cover feels like it's almost too big for the book and because of that, it came slightly warped and uncomfortable. I was thinking of getting this Bible rebound anyways with genuine leather, but this binding job makes me certain that I'm gonna have to get it rebound.- The text is surprisingly small and the center margins and line height are close enough that it's actually a bit uncomfortable. And coming from someone who prints everything on half pages and writes small enough that my university instructors yell at me for ruining their eyesight, I was pretty caught off guard by this. I'm pretty sure the other compact Bibles I've used are the same font size, but this particular font and the kerning/line height makes it a LOT more squished than I'd say is my ideal comfort.- The button flap is pretty narrow compared to the full width of the Bible. This means that, unlike the Trimline NIV Zondervan used to make, you can't fold the flap back and button it in to keep it out of your way. And since the leather isn't super flexible, it's definitely gonna get in the way when reading.Overall: this is the only truly compact NASB on the market (the only other being a 2in thick reference version from Zondervan) so it wins because of the lack of options. However, the smallness of the text might catch you off guard if you've had compact Bibles before and the binding is pretty shoddy.Additionally, if you're reading reviews because you want to know if NASB itself is worth it, IT IS. Once you try it, you'll get hooked! (this might be the INTJ in me talking though..)

Small and very effective
Exactly what I was wanting. This is a very small Bible and anyone looking at this should be expecting this. I bought this to carry and always have with me, and to look at my favorite passages during trying times. It is not my daily reading Bible as tbe text is very small.

Pretty and very portable
Not leather but I don’t care. It’s so beautiful (even prettier than the product photo) and tiny. Perfect for when I don’t want to break out my fat study Bible. From multiple sources, the NASB is the closest to literal translation so it’s helpful to cross reference with my English Standard Version.

Attractive compact NASB bible
The interior print is bold and clean. Soft and supple, the blue synthetic cover feels much like rubber. Over all this is a nice bible and perfect for a purse, briefcase, or backpack. The only negative about it is the small print, but that is to be expected of a bible this diminutive. So if your eyesight is up to the challenge this is a great purchase.

NASB Compact Text Edition, 2008 (back of jeans pocket sized)
Even better than my zippered NLT jean back pocket which is virtually the same size.Unsure if it's real leather or pretend vinyl leather, no matter, it is flexible and easy to handle one handed with a very slightly rough grain feel/texture that is very pleasing and oddly satisfying to handle - no slipperyness here.A superb compact that slips into the back of your jean pocket and is unadorned by any cheesy big crosses on the cover, it's entirely plain so 'stealthy'.Just has "NEW AMERICAN STANDARD BIBLE" in bold gold block serif font on the spine that is resistant to abrasion/rubbing off (I've tried scratching with my fingernail)The popper clasp is secure brass, two column text crisp and clear, gilt edging of pages, a marker ribbon, smyth-sewn binding, slightly rounded corners.Has a useful page at the back that handily lists all the parables on one side and miracles on the other, an informative, if slightly preachy foreword outlining the history of the NASB's formal equivalent translational approach, explaining the formatting convention they use, and throughout the OT and NT, occasional brief alternative renderings of words or idioms in the lower margin. Italicised text is as per standard convention with translations of anything, used to signify text not present in the original manuscripts. Well as original/earliest as we will ever get in Biblical source manuscripts of the Masoretic Hebrew, LXX Koine Greek Septuagint and Nag Hamadi Dead Sea scrolls.I also noticed that throughout there are the odd verse numbers in bold, I don't know what this signifies, maybe they're important verses, but most are not particularly famed, perhaps they are plot points, .Finally, the words of Christ are not in red, and I would've liked thumb index notches but that is me being picky, you can't have everything!Buy with confidence - it's cheap, too!

Beautiful little Bible
Got this Bible as a replacement for my rather large NIV, which I could not lug around everywhere in my backpack. This was a really pleasant surprise- It is small and portable and the rubber cover outside just feels special and fantastic. Would highly recommend this to anyone looking for a small and portable NASB Bible that also happens to look fantastic.

Perfect size!
It's just perfect for using on my commute, taking in a small purse. Just what I wanted and I am very pleased with the translation itself.

NASB in your pocket!
Overall a solid print of the NASB. The binding isn't the greatest so page flipping is slightly inconvenient at times
