I'd recommend rechargeable so you don't have to keep buying new ones.I have this candle jar on my desk with normal warm white string lights, but I bought these to replace them so I'd be able to add a bit more colorWhat I like about these is the fact that because they're RGB, so it's not a single wire, but rather three so there's a little bit more protection. The remote comes with a battery too which is also cool, I've bought other forms of led lights from other companies and they don't have batteries in the remotes.Pro:~They're multi-colored so there are a lot more options in terms of customization~Wires aren't too thin~Packaging is simpleCon:N/A ( I love them :] )Shot with iPhone 6+ ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ These are perfect in every way! *by R***L on Reviewed in the United States on January 31, 2019* These are amazing!!!!! Purchased to add some light to my daughters play tent. They were so easy to use - just pop the AAA’s in and power them on. I loved that you can set a color for it to stay on or it even has a ‘fade’ through all the colors setting. This was a perfect purchase. The light strands are super thin and the led’s are beautiful and bright. It’s exactly what I was hoping for and more! ❤️❤️❤️ ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Super cute *by J***A on Reviewed in the United States on December 28, 2018* The lights are very cuteI love the colors in the remote❤️ --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.be/products/77926347-asmader-fairy-2-pack-battery-operated-string-ip67-waterproof-8](https://www.desertcart.be/products/77926347-asmader-fairy-2-pack-battery-operated-string-ip67-waterproof-8) --- *Product available on Desertcart Belgium* *Store origin: BE* *Last updated: 2026-11-04*
