7 Inches Sat Nav Car Truck GPS Navigation with Touchscreen Include UK & EU Latest Maps and Lifetime Map Updates

A good buget GPS, but not a fast one.

First impressions, what a lovely box, black with red pinstripe, definitely gonna reuse that somehow. The unit is very nice, looks like a 7" android tablet, which pretty much what it is. Flat out of the box, I charged it up using a battery monitor which said battery was around 1800mah which really isn't enough for a 7" screen especially on full brightness, I expected as much for the price but as I planned to leave it plugged in to the 12v supply in the car, it didn't bother me. I fixed the holding bracket to my dashboard using screws as it suited me, although the sucker seemed to work well on the screen. As my 12v supply / cigarette lighter only powers on with the ignition on the car, the unit powers up automatically when it senses power, and powers down once the ignition is off, so ideal to leave in situation if that's what you want. The interface has various options like video player, music player, navigation etc. You can set it to go directly into navigation on power up and into maps rather than navigation menu. The voice during navigation is glitchy, but not overly so, it tends to miss the last few words on some sentences but you get the gist of it. The map is clear on the big screen and seems easy to follow. The biggest downside I've found is that is doesn't do postcode lookup so addresses only, not a major problem but it would have been nice. The GPS seems to work very well and pinpoints the unit very quickly, I've only used it a couple of times so far but it performed well. On the whole I'd recommend the unit if you want a large screen sat nav.

Overall it's not bad for the money.Nice clear bright screen.Starts up fast and finds the satalites quickly.Searching for addresses Takes a bit of getting used to but works once you figure it out.Bad points- It sometimes clips off the voice instructions, it will say "at the roundabout take the,,,,,," that's it! Not always but it's done it four or five times in the few days I've been using it.Also, the bracket is a bit flimsy. Just the bit that clips to the navy unit, doesn't feel like it will last a lifetime.It's not at the quality level of a Garmin or a TomTom but it's less than half the price!Overall I'm happy with my purchase and would buy again.

It sometimes goes on a standby and you have to reset it, sometimes the navigation goes off on tangent e.g. you go down the M1 and it would tell you to come off then go back on it or you put in the post code for a location and show the route is right and then it would send you off in the other direction while driving and tell you that you have arrived but you are in south end not in western supermare. The map rotates as you are driving on the route but stays static on round abouts and legs a little bit so sometimes can be hard to judge which exit to take.

Great value but tricky to use. Our sat nav voice is faulty and doesn't finish some words most difficulty left and right turns.Also although lots of features it is difficult to find some features, it's taken me ages to use it as I want.The lead was faulty too as it caused interference with the radio and I had to replace it.

The product is very good it works well , the only problem is that it needs maps updates and I do not know were to get them. The book that came with the SAT NAV has a email address but I have not received any answer from that address and I have sent them more then one email. I would very much like to get some help from you . Thank you!

The satnav it’s self is great, looks great and great software.Only downside is the mount doesn’t fit and was unable to fit it.Shame as was a great product

This was a lovely size and I was so disappointed that I couldnt use it.. I had to return it. I found it complicated to use and even set up.
