I Do not recommend you using this product for any 12V system that uses active electronics
I just received this and had the same issue - it is unable to power a 12V Car amplifier (JL 600w) at all due to the amount of noise that comes out of this power supply. I am a electrical engineer - so i first measured the DC output with a voltmeter - and it correctly shows 12V (adjustable to 14v) - however with a Oscilloscope connected to the output there is a constant "ripple" noise of nearly 4V! See the image of the measurement above. e.g. the output is 10v to 14v with a high frequency fluctuation between those voltages for an average of ~12V. This implies there is not a correctly designed LC filter on the output of the switching PSU to correctly control the voltage. I do not recommend you using this product for any 12V system that uses active electronics - e.g for a light bulb it may be fine, but not for any things designed to run off stable DC power.

Could use just a bit more voltage adjustment.
My unit adjusts to 13.8 volts, which will do the job, but I wish It could go to 14. I have not heard the fan come on yet.
