Treasure Cave, Crumbled Feta Cheese, 6.0 oz

This is a package I've had a crumples that came to me through an Amazon fresh order.When I open the container it was exactly as I suspected... feta crumbles.The expiration date was far out. The package was undamaged. And the taste was on point.I put them in a wrap, but I suppose you could put them anywhere you feel like feta should go. I'm not here to tell you you can't.

I tend to overeat when it's already crumbled so I prefer the feta block. Delicious but didn't last long.

Feta cheese is usually the choice of cheese for Greek dishes. This particular version is quite dry and is part "crumbles" which are irregular chunks approximately the size of a raisin but the rest is broken down almost to a powder - think finely grated parmesan cheese. I bought it to use on warm Greek dishes so the consistency was not as important this time, but if I was serving Greek Salads to company I would have been disappointed that it was not mostly the chunky crumbles as advertised.

I love the taste and large curds. It’s great in salad and as a topping for pumpkin or lentil soup.

Some people said the crumbled feta was dry but I didn't find it to be dry. Maybe they just got a bad lot. To me it was tasty and fresh and complemented my salads well.

Ordered this on a whim one day. I eat feta often, don't think too much about it, just grab it from the refrigerator section. Well, this one made me sit up and take notice! Creamy, nice size crumble, lovely taste. Now it's the only one I want.

I don't care for this flavor at all. It's hard to explain, but it's sort of a sour flavor vs the other brand I normally buy which has a much fresher, more pure feta cheese flavor. I bought this because it was cheaper. I'll spend a little more from now on and get the fresher tasting feta.
