Works well in windows 10, the drivers got automatically installed.But, please don't install the software that comes with the CD, it screwed up everything for me (sound distortion etc)I had to un-install that and reconnect all my bluetooth devices again !

Works perfectly..just plug n play.It took only 5 secs to installed it in Windows 10 desktop without the need of CD.Actually i purchased it for connecting my wireless headsets (Mivi thunder beats) and it works like a charm .Talking about the coverage - it works well up to 20 m provided there is no obstacle.If you are using any wireless device make sure the bluetooth version must match . In my case both (USB & Mivi wireless headsets) were version 4 capable so there was nothing much to do and everything works fantastically.

This is a version 4 packaged as version 5. To check actual version...Open Device Manager > expand the Bluetooth category > Right-click on the BT adapter in question and then click Properties > Under the Advanced tab, make a note of the LMP number.Now, these are the BT version numbers and the LMP numbers they go with...LMP 0 – Bluetooth 1.0bLMP 1 – Bluetooth 1.1LMP 2 – Bluetooth 1.2LMP 3 – Bluetooth 2.0 + EDRLMP 4 – Bluetooth 2.1 + EDRLMP 5 – Bluetooth 3.0 + HSLMP 6 – Bluetooth 4.0LMP 7 – Bluetooth 4.1LMP 8 – Bluetooth 4.2LMP 9 – Bluetooth 5This unit clearly shows as LMP 6. Other than that, first time connectivity can be a tad tricky but manageable if you are technically sound.Coming to the product itself, its all right. Range is about 10 feet and didnt find any connection drop.Definitely overpriced as it is not worth more than 200 bucks, but there are no alternatives out there at the time of this review.

This was my third CSR bluetooth dongle, after having returned previous two. The first was was defective and not recognised, the second one (from Leoxsys) was working, but I thought was performing very poorly.However, this one is also performing similarly poorly, but since it is behaving same as last one from Leoxsys, I'm assuming this is what I'll get with any LE (Low Energy) CSR dongle.Behaviour (con): Requiring unobstructed line of sight for operation with my bluetooth headset. Even if I turn around, placing my body between the dongle and my bluetooth headset, from as little as 1 meter away, sound is lost. Same headset works perfectly with my mobile from even adjacent room. The headset I'm using is a very cheap QC-10 headset, and maybe premier headsets will perform better. Also it may be that the headset is BT4.1, while this dongle is mentioned to support upto BT4.0. But the fact still remains that my 1.5 year old Redmi Y1 is able to work perfectly, while this dongle could not.And the CD which came was fully Chinese language, and was useless. It was also not the CSR Harmony suite either. Not sure what exactly it was. However, my windows Windows 10 desktop recognised CSR dongle automatically, so so problem there. If needed, one can also download and install the "CSR Harmony" suite.

TL;DR : Buy a TP Link Bluetooth 4.0 for 449/-If you are a windows 10 user then don't buy any local 3rd party bluetooth devices whether 2.0,4.0,5.0 or 6.0/7.0 if they will print on packaging. These are designed to make your system unstable and stuck all the time.If still think it's worth giving a try for a USB5.0 bluetooth or 4.0 at ₹200 then go ahead and make sure it's returnable.

The Bluetooth dongle connects automatically when inserted in the system. No need to install the software given in the CD. Post installing the software, the dongle stopped working. I had to uninstall and reconnect the same. There are minor range issues and it is preferable to place the dongle at the front port if you have a PC. There is no lag in the audio when i am connecting with my Bluetooth JBL headphones although the connection does drop at times. You might have to restart the computer in that case. Given the cost, it is a fair deal.

It is awesome and perfect work in my win 10 desktop. Sound quality is very nice. East installation. But only one problem very low range signal. It is only work within 3-4 meter only which is irritating me. It is only for small room only. So i have give overall 3 star.
