Followed all directions in the user guide. Bluetooth button to take the picture is not working. I made sure the selfie stick was charged, and that it was paired up correctly via Bluetooth with my iPhone. Now the only way I can use the selfie stick is to put the timer on my camera!

This is a lot of fun, very easy to use, and compact enough to fit in my purse. I love it!
This is extremely fun! The instructions leave a little to be desired in clarity, but it's a fairly intuitive device. The charging time is estimated at an hour. Once I plugged it in via the included USB charger, a very small indicator light came on close to the charging port. It didn't take very long at all to charge. It comes with two different clips to hold your phone; one seems bigger and the other seems like it is for smaller devices. It was very easy to figure out which one secured my iPhone. Once it was charged, I flipped the power switch at the bottom to turn the device on. Then, I enabled bluetooth on my phone, went into settings and paired the stick. It was really simple and paired right away. I put the phone clamp on the stick, tightened it, and it was good to go! Taking a picture was really as simple as pushing the button. Even my 3yr old had some fun with it.There are two ways to tighten the phone clamp. One tightens the clamp itself onto the stick. This ensures the phone doesn't fall off of the device. Another knob tightens the connecter on the stick at the proper angle for the photo(s) you are trying to take. This is a lot of fun, very easy to use, and compact enough to fit in my purse. I love it!

Never thought we'd love it!
I wish I could add a video of how much my boyfriend enjoyed this. On the way to Boston I told him that I ordered a selfie stick. He gave me the look that implied I was insane. Then said "I'm going to pretend that wasn't just said". Moments later he continued with a speech about how selfie taking is linked to mental illness. When it arrived and I said "Here I go again product testing for the tenth time in 3 days". I received the same expression raised eyebrow and all. Once I took the pieces out and assembled it though guess who immediately had their phone in it taking insane videos swirling the stick about. Yep, he did! It's actually really cool and we enjoyed it a lot. It was surprisingly well made. I thought they would all be flimsy. Not this one! It's a keeper! Though, I thought I'd just test and hand it off to a selfie fanatic. It's in my purse now and I'm taking it everywhere.Disclosure: I received this discounted in exchange for an unbiased completely honest review

I've never used a selfie stick before and had the opportunity to receive this one in exchange for a review. Being a school librarian trying to think outside the box, I thought it would be awesome to have one for promotions and have students take selfies in the library. So far, I've only tried it out at home with my almost 3-year-old son. When I first looked at the instructions, I was a little put off thinking that no way does that tell me how to put together and then work the selfie stick. It wasn't until I was able to actually take the pieces out of the box and put them together and then look at the instructions that I realized I was making it a lot harder than it really was. I couldn't find any guidelines, though, into why choose one of the attachments over another, so picked one to try. It fit my iPhone 5s (both did, in fact) with its case on. I was happy to see that it was super easy to connect the stick to my phone! My son and I probably took over 100 pictures and he even took some himself since it's just as easy as pushing the button! I'm not 100% confident that my phone is completely safe, but I don't know if my fear is justified. I won't be using it over bodies of water or at great heights, so think we're pretty safe. I'm excited about the things I can do with it at school and look forward to lots more use!
