I wanted a big needed so I could easily sew batting onto plastic canvas squares to make my own filters for my small aquarium. The smallest size needed is just big enough to fit through the holes and the eye is large enough to get the yarn through without too much trouble.

Perfect for the sewing bits of making crochet animals! The colors are easy to see, and the size is easy to work with.

I bought these for a youth group weaving project and they are great! Sturdy, colorful and fun!

Need more of the red ones (these are the smallest) for 7 mesh plastic canvas. All others are much too large to use. I haven't a clue what you'd use the larger needles for. That said, I love the red ones for the plastic canvas as they are easy to thread with yarn, even without a 'threader.'

The needles are great for using to bind my rugs with.

just what i needed

Taught 30 grade 3 students how to do some basic stitches using these! Super easy to thread! We used styrofoam plates and the needles punctured through very easily.

The sewing needles were adequate for the crafting for which I purchased them. They are a big thicker than what they appeared to be in the picture, and I would have preferred a bit more variety in length/width for being the package that they were.

Good for kids.
