The Beauty of Oil Painting, Book 4

the book arrived right on time and in perfect condition

I bought this book for my Mother for her birthday. She just loves it and has already painted 4 of the projects from the book. In fact she is working on a rose pattern this morning. Being that I don't paint I will let her tell you what she thinks. This is one of the best books I've used in a long time the patterns are excellent and in fact I bought Volume 3 this week and can't wait to receive it.

I don't know that I have ever anyone explain so clearly what to do, how to do it and why. I assume I will be buying the #5 book and probably the prior ones if they are still available. I would order them from Amazon since the shipping is so fast.My media is fabric painting, so I am adapting his techniques to fabric and so far, it's working.

Lol! I did a double purchase! Oh well I can give book 2 to one of my kids to learn from..I love the Jenkins couple; these books are priceless for beginners as well as advanced artists..don't hesitate to purchase for your self as well as the art student..the dvd's are awesome..

Step by step instructions, great photos and gorgeous florals. A beautiful book that will inspire and develop your art talent.

I have never seen anyone paint flowers like Gary Jenkins does. He makes it look so easy. Towards the back of the book is a fish painting where he has used a special technique with compressed air. I can't wait to try that one myself!! This is an excellent book!

This is a great book. I love it. I would recommend it to anyone that loves to paint. The pictures are great, very bright and the instructions are clear. All the art is well presented. Buy it you will love it.

The instructions are very good. and can't wait to try the different paintings. They provide outlines of the flowers, parrot and tiger face which will be a great help. Received it quickly.

I like the simplicity and the technique that is illustrated in this book.
