I was undecided on keeping this water bottle. On one hand, I ordered other bottles that held more ounces and collapsed smaller.I gave each a week's trial. This one has been my kids' favorite, which I didn't expect. The solid part of the bottle has been a lot easier for them to hold and tip up to drink, and it's actually the only one that has a solid grip.Second, and most parents will really love this, because it's silicone, when held upside down while uncapped, water doesn't gush out of it. If you've ever tried to give a 1-year-old a drink from a regular water bottle, you'll understand the problem. They can drink from straws, sippy cups, and even regular adult drinking cups, but a water bottle is difficult for some reason. The water still flows out when they close their lips to drink, usually ending up with your kid getting water everywhere. The silicone has enough give so the water doesn't fall out, yet comes out easily enough when they try to drink it. And the fact that it compacts to a smaller size makes this item a game changer for parents of small children!

I bought these as gifts for a family trip coming up. I read the reviews so I did soak them numerous days. I hope they dont taste weird when we go. They were a little hard to clean and then get completely dry inside. Excited to see if they work..

I preface this rating with the fact that I am a water snob and want my water to just taste like water. This water bottle would get straight five stars if I could get the plastic/rubber flavor out of it. After the water is in it a while, it picks up that taste. It is great for airline travel. Take it empty and fill it at the airport.

Let me just say, I've been waiting on the mailman since I placed my order! The collapsible water bottle is the neatest thing I've seen in a long time and I had to have it. I haven't put a soft drink in my bottle, just water and I'm extremely pleased. I love the hook that comes with the bottle, I can attach my bottle to my keys, belt loop or simply hold the hook while I'm out running. I have attached pics of my lavender bottle in it's different "positions" for lack of a better term.

It’s not the worst one out there but is a little hard to collapse. My sons uses the smaller version of it and we don’t have to worry ahout him breaking it which is nice. It’s flexible but doesn’t hold as much liquid as I thought.

Be careful when screwing on the top. Good tight threads, but make sure you don't cross thread, or you'll leak.

So cute, taking this for a flight in a few weeks. It does smell like a lot of silicone if the smell still stays just squeeze a lemon in there and shake the bottle. It takes away the silicone smell. I used lemon soap and squeezed a lemon in it. It smells fine now.

I am pretty disappointed because the size is perfect. They were totally useless. I can't recommend these.I bought 3 of these for an upcoming trip. When I received them I noticed a weird smell but thought it would go away with a wash. I washed them out and let them dry up completely but noticed the smell was still there. I decided to soak them for a day or two then try again. The smell lessened a bit so I thought it would be fine. We tried to use them on our trip but the taste was so bad we ended up not using them and bought bottled waters the whole time.
