Amazing trap! I have parrots that eat fresh fruit every day and the fruit flies are a nightmare. This trap began working immediately and I now have a half inch of flies that have sunk to the bottom. Highly recommend. I gave it four stars because it doesn't ship with an extra packet of lure so if you have a bad infestation you may need to buy more sooner than later. I thought the lack of the second packet was a little cheese but the trap IS AMAZING!!!!

Works

This was an easy to use product. The first day we left the jar open. We've caught several of the fruit flies. Originally we tried apple cider vinegar and dishwashing soap in a couple bowls. It worked but not as quickly as this. The yeast product you mix with water really attracts the nats. I've tried stuff in the soil, stuff to put down the drain and the yellow sticky boards. I'm sure they all help but the yeast solution is really great. We've had a battle with these nats for about 2 weeks. Very aggravating!! We never had nat problems in the house to the degree we had this year. Ugh!

I bought this trap because I had that one pesky fly that would zoom around my head while cooking dinner. At least I THOUGHT it was only that one fly. After several days of being set up this trap had caught WAY more than I expected! It’s so easy to use and honestly, has a super cute design! I love having the little kiwi set up in my kitchen! Also I love that it’s not toxic nor has any smell. I really enjoy my trap and recommend it to anyone who has even the slightest of fruit fly problems! Would buy again.

Not the best but not the worst either

During certain times I get inundated with fruit flies in my house so I bought this to keep on hand for when that happens. But I decided to open it and use it recently just to see what it was all about, even though I didn’t have a current problem. The trap attracted and caught fruit flies I didn’t even know I had! I hope that using this consistently will keep me from ever having an infestation in the future.

Rarely do I get around to writing reviews but this made me stop and tell anyone looking to get this.... GET THIS! The first night we kept it open, like the directions suggested if you have a lot of fruit flies/gnats. There at least 15-20 the next day. Then just attracted more and more - captured and killed tons of those suckers. Going to get another one to finish them off!
