Good quality
You want be disappointed with this purchase. Helly Hanson makes a top quality jacket. Water resistant is great for raining days. The layering of the jacket keeps you dry, warm, and blocks the wind quite well. The jacket is both stylish and of good quality. I would definitely buy again.

Fantastic Purchase!
My last two purchases have been Columbia 3-1 interchange coats. Don’t get me wrong, each lasted several years (expired prematurely due to my abuse), and were solid overall designs. But, I always found myself wondering if there was a better overall option for Seattle (and WA in general). Despite the boast of Columbia being “waterproof”, the material always felt waterlogged after a day in the rain/ snow. The quality of my children’s coats, ironically, led me to try Helly Hansen and I’m glad I did! First, let me say - buy the size up. (Especially if you plan to wear a sweater, sweatshirt or thicker layer underneath (you’ll thank me later). And to those complaining about the armpit tightness? It’s because the size/ fit is for slightly broader shoulders than the average person has (fits beautifully for me - with full range of motion). The jacket initially felt a bit on the lighter side, and I was concerned I’d made a mistake. The coat, however, is lightly insulated and absolutely wind and waterproof - I spent the day in 30-35° temps with a T-shirt on underneath and had no issue staying comfortably warm. (The construction allows for breathability without sweating which is nice). To address a couple of specific concerns I read in reviews, now that I have the product in hand: Please don’t confuse lightweight construction with inferior quality or somehow not being up to the task - this applies both to the body of the coat as well as the zipper construction. And in regard to this being a mid layer - it absolutely can be, especially if you live in sub-zero temps. But this also works as a top layer with a layer underneath if you choose that route. Best advice I can give - make sure you have accurate measurements of yourself (don’t go based on typical vanity sizing). Use the sizing chart. Then go a size up. In a city that seemingly revolves around Columbia, North Face, Patagonia and Outdoor Research, I am staunchly a Helly Hansen convert. Buy with confidence and enjoy!

Nice layer H H. Coat
Good fit, warm pockets and neck lining. Love the color too! Competitive price for H.H gear. Size up if your want to layer underneath it Its a light jacket so wasnt expecting full winter protection. Very nice coat overall.

Awesome Jacket
This jacket is well constructed of quality layers and looks amazing! Quality and weather resistant are top notch. Even though it is listed as a mid layer, I’ve worn it in temperatures down to the high 20’s and was comfortably warm. The water resistance is as advertised. I would recommend this to family and friends.

Check Sizing- Different than US
This product is Made In Portugal and there sizing seems to be different than US. I ordered an extra large and received the US equivalent of a large. I reordered a XXL and it fit fine. Other than size issues this is a excellent product which, in my opinion, will offer many years of service.

Looks great, well made and thought out, just wished had better waterproofing capabilities
I got this jacket for windy or rainy days, where a full puffer wouldn't be ideal or would be too hot. This jacket does a decent job of keeping me dry and protecting me on rainy or windy days. I appreciate the fleece insulation, which definitely helps me stay warmer. One thing to note is that the fleece does not line the entirety of the inside of the jacket. The collar, pockets, and select parts of the body are fleece-lined. The outer portion of the sleeves seems to have a thin layer of insulation, while the inner part of the sleeve (running from the armpit down to the wrist), does not have insulation. I do wish the factory DWR application were more durable and better, as I found my jacket wetting out easily, especially in moderate to heavy rainfall. I washed the jacket with GearAid ReviveX and applied Nikwax wash-in DWR, which helped revive the jacket's waterproofing and helped aid water bead off. Another neat feature is how the hood can be rolled up and packed into the collar of the jacket. The zippers are smooth and high quality, and they are apparently treated to withstand saltwater corrosion, which I thought was cool as well. Overall, I love the fit, look, and protection this jacket offers me in moderate conditions. However, I would definitely spend money on a heavier-duty rain jacket if you are going to need more protection in more severe weather.

Good coat!
Great coat. Fits a but small but is super warm and thick. A little pricey but a good option for skiing or extreme winter conditions. The white color is perfect and is easy to wash.

Very good quality
Well made coat, warm. Great neck that zips straight up to keep out the cold and a hidden hood. Waterproof, windproof and looks great. Highly recommended.

Totalmente recomendada ! Abriga y no pesa

Great Jacket
Great coat but sizing is dodgy, I already had the same jacket in 3XL which I have had for 3 or 4 years and still wear but the new jacket is 5XL
