and a good backup is essential
Hi – I received this product just 2 days back (seller LI-EM-S). I have a Macbook Pro 13" (late-2011) model. While the replacement of the battery didn't pose any issues, the product itself is flawed. I use my Mac for about 10-12 hours every day, and a good backup is essential. My previous 6 years old battery could only sustain for 45mins - 1hr on a full charge. This new battery only provides 1.5 hrs! And at 7%, my Mac just shuts down without any warnings - which indicates the battery's cells are flawed! I've written to the seller yesterday, but haven't received any response.

Not getting 100% backup
Update: After 10 Months - The system is now turns off when battery reaches around 40%. One portion of the battery is bulged now. Have to order another. Reducing my rating from 3 to 2 Stars.I was quoted 21.5k for a battery replacement by Apple care. Mine is already 4year old maqbool pro and there is no point spending that much. This OEM battery suited perfect on my Macbook pro Mid 2012 unibody.Make sure you have the right screw driver to remove the battery. It's a unique one - tri wing screw.Even after calibration, my Mac turns off below 10%. I am not getting 100% backup. Thus am giving only 3stars.

this Battery is working good than expected
this Battery is working good than expected. I bought my macbook PRO during 2012 and after that i replaced original battery with this new one.So far it is working good and i am getting almost 4 hours backup. Good performance.Thanks

its just 5 months old now, facing issue with ...
its just 5 months old now, facing issue with laptop power off - even when its 40 / 50% charged. so now I'm keeping power cord connected even when its fully charged:( not sure how to get it replaced now

Great battery backup
Great battery backup. Been using if for a month. But I do have one issue, ever since I replaced my original battery with this, my macbook pro would sometime power off automatically instead of going to sleep when I put the lid down. This happens randomly, don't know what the reason is.

Good enough
It's been more than a year since i purchased this battery. still is working quite well. Keep in mind its not an original and only an economical replacement. The battery will last you a decent 3 hours with moderate usage.
