I got this to do some art in my small apartment where I do not have a lot of space to draw on. This easel box is great to have a working surface, and it has storage for some art supplies inside. It is a great price and the box feels very sturdy. The locking mechanism holds the easel well at whatever angle you want and you can put different sized paper on it. I have not yet traveled with it to use outside, but seems like it will be good for that purpose too

I bought this tabletop easel about a year ago. It was exactly what I was looking for. It's well-made. It expands easily for a larger canvas, though I usually work 9"x12" or smaller. I've been very pleased with it. It makes painting in my tiny apartment possible. Great little easel!The only thing you should be aware of is that you will likely need to keep tightening the wing nuts that set the slant of the canvas. If you forget to do so, you may find that your canvas is slowly moving towards being horizontal instead of vertical. I don't see this as a flaw in this particular easel, though. In my experience, that just seems to be the nature of wing nuts on easels. With use, they loosen over time.

Like how it's all together, very sturdy, box could be 1-2" deeper. Wish the bar at the top would hold a smaller canvas [like an 8x10], or have it be adjustable!! maybe make the bar inside hold better when closed, at the bottom. It's a good little box for the money.

I absolutely love this tabletop easel. It’s a great small size, it’s really strong and adjustable, and it works as a storage box too. I also really like that it has rubber stoppers underneath so it won’t scratch my surfaces.

Does everything from holding the artists media, to storing art supplies.

I am just starting out so wanted a table top easel that I could use at home or take to classes. This is a good product, easy to size for an assortment of canvas sizes, and holds a bunch of paints and brushes.

It came exactly like it looked on line. It is solid and study. It works great in tight spots. It does minimize options for larger canvas or painting surfaces.
