I had to have Bad Horsey after watching Crossroads; glad it was finally put on a CD. His guitar continues to raise the hair on the back of my neck and arms; always provoking a real emotional response. Along with the noisy bits, he has thrown in some lovely Hendrix type songs showing how versatile he really is. I have always loved this guys floyd rose springy lyrical riffs; especially when adding a wah pedal. I'm always torn between Vai, Steve Morse, Eric Johnson and the likes and now he's probably at the top for me.

Steve Vai rules!

A really great disk that showcases Steve Vai's talent and his "not-afraid-to-try-anything" compositional skills."Juice" will make your head swim with the riffs and hooks and chops showcase! "The Boy from Seattle" will keep you humming all day.But the hidden gem is "Ya-yo Gakk," where Vai incorporates his son's singing and then does a phenomenal job of imitating his son.Great addition to your collection!

Where's the rest of the cd booklet pages?I bought the passion and warfare for the same price thinking that I would get the same Whole booklet but what I got is a "pirated-quality" cd cover.The disc is good but if you're the one who likes to collect the album for its contents/booklet, well, bad news for you.

I had this album on a casette tape years back. The tape disappeared, but nobody uses tapes anymore, so, who cares? If you like Steve Vai, you should have this for your collection. The album has some regular songs on it and some wild and crazy ones too. You must appreciate S.V. to listen to the wild ones. You will notice that a lot of pieces of songs and complete songs from this disc appear on his later and most recent albums. This is Vai! What more can I say?

I would have given this album only 4 stars, only when i listened all the way through and noticed that there werent any simpering Lead Singers on it, I pushed it to an astounding 5 Stars. Musicians Rule and Singers droll...Thanks steve more then worth the cover charge......A true reflection of the work that you put into this craft....
