Really only had to attach the legs, which was way easier than dealing with something that comes completely in pieces. Once it was all together, this thing is solid. I mean, it’s real wood, not particleboard, so it actually looks and feels high quality.It also came with a waterproof game mat that fits right into the recessed playing area. The surface is big enough for 4 to 6 people—we’ve used it for board game nights and it works great. And yeah, it doubles fine as a regular dining table when we’re not gaming. Not huge, but fits our family of four comfortably. The price felt really reasonable for a solid wood table like this. Only minor thing—the instructions for the legs were a little basic, but honestly, it was straightforward. Took me about 20 minutes solo. Also, it’s got some weight to it (which honestly makes it feel more sturdy), so maybe have a second person help move it if you need to. Beautiful wood, great accessories.I’m not happy, and literally the only reason I’m not returning it is because the playmat will cover the break, it’s a huge item, and I don’t want the hassle of trying to coordinate a return on such a massive item.
