OK, first, we have typical brief, barely intelligible instructions on a device that must have had updates not incorporated into the "manual." If you can get past that, it works. A normal day charges the internal (not replaceable as far as I can tell) battery. The motion sensor is pretty sensitive. Straight ahead, it picks up movement fifty feet away; a little less at angles off center. I bought these to light the way around the side of the house to get to infrequently accessed equipment at night. For that two of these work perfectly--one to light the stepping stone path, the second to light up the equipment area. Very nice.As to the small side all-night lights, for me these serve no purpose. Not bright enough to light your way, and even if you were close enough to see the area they're lighting, then you'd be picked up by the motion sensor and the main light would come one. So all these "little lights" do is help run the battery down.Shut off timer is adjustable, but after fiddling with it for a few minutes, I decided it wasn't worth the trouble, so I think both lights are at the default shut off time. The lights seem reasonably weather resistant, but only time will tell. One is partially under the eaves. The other is on a fence, so it's totally in the weather. If one is going to fail due to weather, it's this one. If you're reading this and it's at least six months since the review date, post a comment, and I'll confirm that the lights are still working or not. So far, though, this is good enough that I may order a couple more.

Works as intended , dim lights stay on all night and bright lights come on when motion detected. I was concerned it wouldn’t have enough battery power to stay lit but it does. I would buy again.

Unfortunately the light is dying and currently only 4 of the LEDs light. The light was purchased 10/2018. Not even 1 year yet.

I have purchased multiple products from this line both for myself and as gifts, and have never been disappointed. I have some purchased 2+ years ago which are performing as if I got them yesterday. Highly recommend!

Not as bright (or long lasting) as I'd like when I take my dog out back at night.

I put one in the front yard and one in the back yard. They give plenty of light off. Very impressed with battery life and quality. Make sure you buy these lights with settings buttons on the front.

Installation is difficult in outdoors based on the option provided with 2 screws. So far motion detection seems to be working.

Great product. I've tried many different types of solar lighting in the past few years. These are the best by far!
