Everything we purchased was high quality, well packaged and delivered promptly. Highly recommended.These newel posts, in particular are beautiful and very sturdy. They are 1.5 inch square solid metal. We used an angle grinder to cut ours with no problem, but keep in mind you will need a tool like this. Also the foot and mounting bracket are sold separately from the same seller. ### ⭐ Does not work without the support and the seller does not have the support to sell it *by C***M on November 8, 2021* What a terrible mistake this was! Was too heavy, it costs more to return than the item itself. Without the base, this item cannot be installed. House of forgings does not have the base for sale and they will not. take the item back.
