Takeout Kit, Moroccan Shakshuka (Moroccan Baked Eggs) Pantry Meal Kit - Just Add Eggs, Serves 4

It might seem a bit odd, but I purchased this while deployed to the Middle East because I grew weary of the same ol' dining facility food. I picked up a few other kits as well.First off, the presentation value is huge, I opened the box and was immediately impressed. The quality and quantity of food in the box was more than I was expecting. Some exotic stuff too, I hadn't ever cooked with some of this stuff!Directions come in the box and everything packaged in padding so there's no concern about anything breaking. I like that the directions also tell you exactly what kind of cooking equipment you're going to need, particularly because we were slim on availability of most cooking gear.Simple enough to cook, added fresh eggs that we sourced locally, and enough for 6 guys/gals to get enough to experience. Smells amazing! We got some Peshwari Afghan bread and had that with it. If you're cooking this only, it's probably only enough for 4, but we stretched it. Had some materials (spices etc) left over after cooking.All in all, worth every penny, and we're glad we bought this. I'd recommend Takeout Kit for a deployment if you've got access to a skillet and you're tired of DFAC food.

My teenagers actually liked it. I was surprised, but because I travel I like to expose them to foods that I have had all over the world. I was nervous about putting the eggs in because I didn’t think my kids would like it but decided to stick with the directions-my kids actually said that they liked the eggs in particular with the dish. The only my thing that one of the kids didn’t like was the chunks of tomato. If my teenagers liked it...then it is a good dish because they are picky with international foods.

One dish i always wanted to make after having it in a breakfast place.......found out this package was just perfect for that!

I did not like paying $35 for $10 worth of supermarket ingredients. can get the recipe online, and cook it yourself. the recipe is very easy .

Even the 12 year old boy loves it. Now my favorite meal.

No directions included in the kit and it isn’t returnable! I will dispute the charge. Thanks for nothing.

This box contains shelf stable items to craft the recipe included. Meal was and interesting take on a common recipe. Please, but I can prepare a better dish for a lower price. Please with my purchase, would not repeat.

This kit was a gift to my son & daughter-in-law. He is a chef and sometimes very picky, but he actually enjoyed very much. He gave it an A+!
