Weighted Lap PAD Cars Design

We love this item! My son has such a hard time sitting still at the table, but this seems to ground him. He has never sat so still while eating! It is also well-made and attractive.

The weights are very expensive and these are difficult to make. Very calming for hyperactivity. Helpful for elderly and youngsters

My son still gets up quite often, but any little help is worth trying.

Where to start. First of all, read! Look at the dimensions, this is no bigger than half a standard place mat. Not their fault, that's mine. I expected small, but I have larger throw pillows and the price--holy hell. I'm still reeling from that. Workmanship is quality, but it's filled with hacky sack beads--those are the weights. So if, like me, you have a young child who may choke, this isn't the way to go. Get a heavy quilt or throw 50 bucks in the breeze.

I ordered this pad because I thought everything about it was cute, the pattern, and the stitching. And I showed my almost three year old with severe sensory needs the picture and he was so excited. However that pad we received is a total different pattern, it is bright blue with the cars characters, but it is no where near as cute as the one they show. And the stitching is not as nice as they show either. I have looked at the sensory university website and was so excited to start ordering products for my two boys, but I will find somewhere else to shop because when I pick something out online, I expect to get what I see in the picture.I think that this is very dishonest and a huge hassle for people to have to deal with. Picture what you are going to send!Also the pad was almost two weeks later than they said arriving at my house.I am not impresses with the sensory university.

My son's preschool teach recommended a weighted blanket for my son, but they are very expensive. i ordered this, expecting it to be larger than it is, but that's my own fault because I didn't check the dimensions. I was hoping my son could use it in the bed to help him stay still long enough to fall asleep, but it really is too small for that because if he rolls over, it falls right off of him. However, it is good quality and it does the job for keeping him still at the dinner table. It is actually quite amazing the difference it makes in helping him sit still.

Good but super over priced and delivery so high and even then came after ages.. But quality and weight is good but size slightly smaller compare to the other 2 kgs lap pads i have seen.. So a bit of a rip off but needed it and only printed and good themed one for boys out there

I thought this product was very overpriced, although my son is still using this I believe it was too much for the product.

I care for Autistic child who wriggles all the time, this lap pad keeps him sitting at peace especially on car journeys.
