The battery in my iPhone 6 was becoming erratic and unreliable, I was gonna make an appointment at the Genius Bar but decided to do it myself and I’m glad I did. This little kit provides excellent quality tools and instructions. I was absolutely impressed!The hardest and most nerve racking part was getting the old battery out of the phone. Apple uses a ridiculous double sided tape to secure the battery. Once removed, I installed the new battery and viola! Phone is like new! All day battery life. I’m glad I did the replacement myself and this kit worked out great. I couldn’t be more pleased.

Inexpensive product but had to get someone to install for me. Hasn’t improved my battery life.

Even though I have tools for phones I like the kit included, I always just end up using the included tools without issue (except for the suction cup, I instead use the one I bought because it is much easier). I uploaded a couple of photos to show what came with it. I am changing out the batteries on a couple of phones at work. I have been buying this brand for the last year or so, I do not make my living doing this, just doing a favor, but if I did I would go with this. If you have never changed a battery take a minute and go over to youtube, search for tips and tricks for changing iphone battery, you will find it much easier to use some of the methods.It is super easy to do this if you do it right, my first couple I had a hard time getting the battery out and I went looking for easier methods after I punctured one and it almost caught fire (smoked). I always like to find the most efficient way to get things done and I always look for tips no matter what it is. Anyhow, the two black tabs that are to pull out the double sided tape, use the tweezers to get a good enough portion to get a tight hold and pull straight out, not so fast it snaps, just put enough pressure, like your stretching it. I usually can get one out and the other snaps on me, but if you can get both, the battery comes up without any prying. Even if you only get one it is much, much easier to remove the battery.I also make a rough diagram of the device and them use double sided tape where I mark each screw and or part so I can easily put it back together. It takes a minute to set up but makes life easier, especially if your doing this for the 1st time or it has been so long in between you don't recall. Last, if your like me and you change screens and batteries on a semi-regular basis, get the screen popper (tool with suction cups on each side that easily pops the screen), it makes life so much easier.Back to the battery, it seems to hold well and does not give me any overheating issues. I have had one or two other brands overheat and I had to remove and re-order. I think I have used at least 5 or 6 of these and they work fine. I trust the brand so I will be sticking to it. It is priced low and but it is not a cheapy. They even include the sim card remover and the screws in case you lose any. Great deal, solid battery!

This is my 2nd battery of this type. They are easy to replace from the OEM battery. The adhesive strips on the replacement battery did not come out well at all for my 2nd one. I had to heat it up quite a bit with the hairdryer and very carefully pry it free. $25 to get another year out of my phone is a good deal. When these replacements start to fail though, they will drop out at ANY time regardless of battery percentage, so it must be replaced to use the phone with any confidence.

My son had installed a YONTEX battery in an iPhone 6 before. So, I ask him if he would do it for his Mom. Everything when as expected and it is working great. The built in battery app shows it as 100%. This secret is to watch videos and follow instructions. As shown in some videos, keep track of where each screw was removed as you can crack the circuit board by putting screws in the wrong hole.

Absolute garbage. I did what was suggested by the manufacturer - let it fully charge and fully discharge 5 times. The battery will never get to 100% the first time. It gets to between 96 - 98% and the phone thinks it's fully charged. You have to unplug it and plug it back in you get it to 100%. Any time the battery gets below 30% charge the remaining charge is blown away in about 20 minutes regardless of usage. The battery discharges rapidly while the phone isn't being used even if every app is force quit before putting the phone down. At most you get about 10 hours out of a charge. The OEM battery was typically good for about 36 hours.This battery is 100% junk.

I received this product a couple days ago and actually installed the battery last night. What a difference, the original battery drained so fast that I could hardly use the phone and with this new Yontex battery it has new life again! Everything you need is in the kit that comes with the battery but I recommend visiting You Tube to watch a video tutorial on how to best do the swap, it's actually pretty easy to do. Anyhow I'm quite happy with this product

Restored my phone to near new condition. It would have been nice if some of the smallest screws had been provided since they are easily lost.
