My cat loved this food! Unfortunately, they stopped making it
Leave it to industry to pull a product that was perfect. My cat has very bad allergies to grain and corn, so it's very hard to find food she can eat that she will like. She liked this food, and it was great for keeping her allergies down. Unfortunately, they discontinued it. Typical.

Great, but then......
Rachel Ray has been putting new through the test. My cats went from the "zero grain" bags to "peak" bags and will now if to another brand. The nourish has too much of the filler items I refuse to give my cats. So the nourish line is trash. Well for whatever reason now the peak line is discontinued and it's savory which isn't any better than the nourish line. Thanks Rachel and JM Smucker for pushing a customer away to another brand. My cats loved their food but the garbage food doesn't work for me so now. Guess it was a good ride while it lasted for that food. Hopefully it stops happening cause I have switched their food to many times because of discontinuation....... For those of you who buy this product ya better start making the switch now before it's too late. Thank God I have a bit of a stockade.

My cat can’t get enough!
Believe it or not I didn’t realize that cats were picky when it came to eating… But I finally found a dry cat food that as soon as I open the container he is attacking his dish… Now I can really make sure I know what he’s eating every day and about his diet is on track… I had googled this and this was rated as one of the most nutritious options for cat food in 2021 so it gives me even more peace of mind that I’m feeding my kitty cat something healthy that he actually enjoys it and you don’t wanna piss off your cat keep your cat happy …. trust me, You’ll thank me later.

Made my cat's poop pale yellow
Things to note: We have a 9 y/o Siberian Cat that we adopted as a senior a year ago. He is missing all of his front teeth but only likes to eat kibble (doesn't care for wet food) so texture and size of the kibble are important factors. Since we adopted him we had been exclusively feeding him a hills formula for seniors cats. That food is twice as expensive so, because of covid and availability, we decided to try and change his food. After doing some research we figured this brand was the best bang for our buck. We feed our 6 y/o King Sheppard dog this brand's dog food version and she seems to be doing well on it but with our cat it didn't go so well. We fed him an entire bag for about a month giving him the recommended amount. With the old food he already ate 1/4 cup in the morning and 1/4 in the evening so that stayed the same. The first thing is it smeels strongly of fish. I don't mind it, but I imagine to someone more sensitive it could be a problem. I imagine for cats it must smell delicious? The size of the kibble is smaller than any other I've seen which I thought would help him with his lack of teeth but it was more difficult for him to grab on to. He still ate it and seemed to enjoy it.I noticed a week in, that his poop had become a pale yellow, almost clay like, color. We thought it might be him adjusting to the new food but almost a month later his poop was getting more and more pale. I read that it could mean problems with the gallbladder or pancreas so I decided to go back to the old food. It's not even a week later after changing his food back and his poop and energy level are back to normal.I definitely don't think this food was doing my senior cat any good and will not be feeding him it anymore. It's a shame because the nutritional value seemed to be something that would help a senior cat. We will also be monitoring our dog closely just to make sure she also doesn't develop any problems.Bottom line is: I don't recommend this cat food. I feel it's better to spend the couple of dollars extra and get him something better formulated for older cats.

cat approved
I have one cat who is a food snob and Rachel Ray is the only food he will eat now. He doesn't mind if I change the flavor but if I buy a different brand will go days without eating! My other kitty would eat rocks if I put them in her bowl but she seems to enjoy this brand and does not throw up as much as she did on more expensive brands. I have bought this product many times in different flavors depending on the cost and the cats are always happy.

One Kitty LOVES it, the other LIKES it.
My kitties seem to like the small kibble size. Both have lost weight since I've taken them off the grain-free foods (corn, mostly) that they HAD been eating. They're older, so the smaller bits are easier for them to chew. My one kitty runs when I pour it into the bowl and digs in...the other...may or may not come right away, but will eventually dig in. I offset his disappointment by giving them the squishy food he particularly loves. Overall, a good food Z and Z seem satisfied with.

Small kibble is great for old cats with dental issues.
I just started to feed my elderly 20 year old cat this food recently and so far she seems to like it. I selected this food mainly because the kibble size is so small. She has terrible teeth and missing a few and dry food, which she loves, is hard for her to eat. I also feed her wet food twice a day, but she likes to nibble on kibble throughout the day. She started munching on it as soon as I put it in her dish and she ate quite a bit. She didn’t get sick and her litter droppings haven’t been any worse smelling than usual. The ingredients in this food seem to be of good quality and the price is very reasonable considering it’s grain free. If she continues to eat this food I’ll definitely buy it again.

High-quality cat food. Better price than big box store
I have 3 cats. I have been feeding them this product for over two years now. Either this flavor or the Salmon flavor, but always Rachel Ray PEAK (not Nutrish). This stuff is 40% high quality protein. Cats love it. Smells like fish. Seems natural. Good ingredients. Cats really like the small kibble size - not common w other brands.Noticeably healthier coats on all three. Very few fur balls and only on long hair cat. Their weight is perfect and very active. This same bag costs $38-41 at Meijer (only local store that carries large size bags). Small sized bags not economical. This food can be $$ if you don't buy in the large bags or in bulk. I use the subscribe and save - for about $27!Will continue to buy!!!!
