some of the reviews say there was a bad smell to it. I cant speak for them but mine had no odor at all. The only issue was that when the description said it fastened in the front I assumed it fastened all the way down. It doesnt. It simply has a tie at the top. I can put a button or piece of velcro on it myself. But I think they should clarify

Exactly what I needed! Used this for a dream Gary cosplay from SpongeBob. Very nice material. Slightly heavy. Inside is a satin material and outside is like a velvety material. Came in decent time. Will re use for sure

I purchased this robe for my husband who is a pastor. After delivering sermons, he is wet from perspiration. This robe prevents him from getting hypothermia It is roomy and he thoroughly appreciates it. It's a great robe!

It's a nice robe, really but... THE SMELL. As soon as I opened it the smell hit me. I think it's the cheap "satin" it's lined with but the chemical... Idk what... Smell sickening. I tried Tide fabric spray... Nothing. Febreze... Nothing. Left outside and soaked it with more Tide spray and Febreze... Nothing. I just finally broke down and hand washed it in my tub and it's drip drying but I think it might still vaguely smell. I bought it for a costume to wear to a convention soon and... Idk... If I can't get the smell to go away I won't be able to stand wearing it. I'd rate it a 4 or 5 if it didn't smell so ungodly bad! It's very nice otherwise!

it's good material. seems well made. warm, soft, the hood is perfect. But upon taking it out of the package it had a VERY pungent/weird scent. It permeated everything it touched or was near. So...not ideal there.

I used this to build a Santa Robe and was not disappointed.

This robe was very heavy and believable, exactly what I was hoping it would be. If flows wonderfully as you move your arms. I'm a very large man, 6'1", 360 lbs, and it is perfect for my wizard costume. Note.. it isn't going to close around my big belly, but it never needed to. Close up is for a better idea of the color in the sun.. a bit overcast today.

I took a chance because I needed a cloak and it would have cost me $300+ to make one out of velvet. It came today and OMG it is fantastic. It is not true velvet but it is a lush pile and the lining is heavy weight and great quality. I am so pleased with this I may buy another one in another colour. Not sure what I do with it but I could come up with something lol. Oh and it is fully lined not partial like it says in the description.

had to wait for package longer than specified when ordered. No mention of having to pay customs either. Other than that it was delivered in perfect order.Thanks
