Excellent built and timekeeping. Recommended for beginner watch aficionados and someone interested in mechanical watches
After one month of usage, these are my impressions.Solid, heavy and well built watch. The watch face is simple (although derives from a certain known Swiss Brand!) uncluttered and tells the time quickly without the need for second glance.Pros:1. Well built watch. All parts are well finished and look like they would hold up abuse2. No battery required. It's an automatic watch with 24 jewels. It's an NH35A (seiko design) movement with hacking seconds hand. Also can be hand wound.3. Sweeping seconds hand (not many appreciate the beauty of the sweeping seconds hand unlike a quartz's tick tock.4. Can change straps and works well with Nato Straps as well as metal bracelet.5. Metal bracelet is solid metal (unlike cheap casio rolled steel bracelets). Quite comfortable and substantial feeling. Heavy watch may not be everyone's liking.6. Rear Case backing is an exhibition screw down case. Beautiful to look at and waste a lot of time appreciating the heart-beat of the hairspring beating away!7. Everything lines up perfectly. The hour hand, minute hand and the dates on the display window.Cons:1. While riding, the watch slides down and digs a little into the wrist. (This can be resolved by wearing the strap tightly2. Invicta's not so great after-sales. (In India it is non-existant)3. Lume is not powerful enough for night viewing. Barely sufficient with eyes adjusted to darkness.4. Rotating bezel is a little hard to rotate as there is nothing to hold onto it.5. Metal bracelet is solid but the end links and the clasp are not solid metal.6. Leather Nato strap was a little hard to loop through the lugs as there wasn't enough clearance between the case and lugs. Some more info:1. This is an automatic movement mechanical watch and expecting a precision as good as a quartz is a sin. That being said, I consistently stay +/- 10 seconds a day. During my usage in this month, I'd worn it everywhere and all the time. When this watch is worn very often, the watch runs about 5 seconds faster at the end of the day. And when you pick it up the next day, it would have slowed down by about 5 seconds. So estimating the error is very easy. Over the course of my usage the watch has stayed very accurately around the atomic clock time (always within +/- 5 seconds depending on when you're looking at the watch). If such a usage keeps up, this watch can beat any quartz watch in accuracy (but not precision).2. I keep changing between leather NATO strap and Nylon NATO strap and the metal bracelet (pictures attached)3. I also have a Casio digital watch that gained about 3 seconds in this month, but this watch always maintains +/-5 seconds. So in terms of precision and time at the end of an year, the quartz watch would have gained half a minute while this watch would still be around the atomic clock time! (Which is cool, considering it's a micro mechanical purpose built device).4. I have never left the watch un-wound or let it run off. I've either worn it continuously or kept it wound when not in use. This is the intended way of maintaining a mechanical watch.5. The automatic rotor turns with hand movements and winds the watch main spring. While rotor is winding it makes clicking sounds which is escape wheel locking in the cogs and from escaping the main spring from loosing energy.6. I have not tested the water resistance (200m) of this watch (I don't swim, let alone dive!) However this will hold up quite well to splashes and hand washing as it has a screw down crown. Need to fully and tightly screw the crown in or water would seep into the case.7. Day display is not perpetual. Need to set day 5 times a year.Who is this watch for: Mechanical watch aficionados and horology enthusiasts. This watch is however frowned upon by many watch experts. Not sure why.Who is this watch not for: Someone who doesn't bother to maintain a mechanical device. (Who doesn't like to bother about winding it every so often)

Excellent watch
Excellent quality for the money paid. The watch keeps accurate time and has a new Seiko movement with hacking and hand winding capability. A screwdown crown and a see through case back make it very attractive

I am loving the 8926!
I bought this watch after a few friends recommended it. Amazon had a good price for it. I started using the day I got it, non stop, it has never failed to keep correct time (about a month now). This watch loses about 12-17 seconds per day, which is okay for an automatic watch. SEIKO NH35A does a great job. The exhibition back case is a very good attraction on this watch. The 8962 feels heavy on your wrist but is not chunky. For the price, the quality is just great. Highly recommended for someone who is starting to get into automatic watches.Cheers!

My First Automatic Watch
My first Automatic Watch. Just Love It. Well it's a different experience. The watch has a beautiful Dial. Looks like a Rolex watch, Has bezels like an Omega watch, The hands looks a bit like a Brietling watch and its got a Seiko Movement. its a beautiful watch. The watch box given with the watch is beautiful as well. You can wear it with the given elegant Metal bracelet band or you can even rock it with a Nato strap as well. People think that you need a Luxury watch to start a collection, but I don't think that way, I think everyone needs to start somewhere, and I think this is the best watch to start with. Invicta, in my opinion is a respectable Swiss brand and was founded in 1837. Well I think you should admire every watch brands, every watch has story behind it and has craftmanship behind it. I put it on a Nato strap, just like James Bond Spectre Nato Band. It just feels like the James Bond Omega Spectre Limited Edition Watch. Its got a screw down crown, so its got a nice protection against water. Its got an See Through Back Case so you can enjoy the view of the beautiful movement. Its an automatic movement but you can also hand wind the watch. The dial size is about 40mm, so it should fit every wrist size. The lume on the watch is great as well. If you are getting into watches or already are into watches, Just don't hesitate to buy the watch. Go ahead and enjoy the beauty of the watch.

Best bang for your buck
its really beautiful. the build quality and finish is preety good if compared to a similarly priced timepiece. the dail is well finished although the lume isn't that great. The watch's dimensions are preety good for small and big wrists. The automatic movement is a very reliable movement although it can be off by -20/+40 sec but you can regulate it at home only (you have to be really careful). The display case back is a great add-on and it shows off the beauty off the movement. The bezel was preety stiff at first but I don't think anyone will go diving with the watch. The clasp is not extraordinary but it gets the job done.I am not sure about the water resistance of the watch but I have gone swimming with it. It has a power reserve of about 40 hours and it can be hand wound . For around 8000 rs. It's much better than any fossil or tommy watches you can find.
