The indicator itself works well, the range is perfect for this application and the plunger moves smoothly without any stickiness or friction. I don't have a suitable way to determine absolute accuracy however it produces results pretty much in line with my calibrated Mitutoyo dial indicator. The magnetic base is handy and the magnetic force is sufficient to hold it in place. The arm offers a good range of adjustment and different positions to suit various uses, however I had issues in getting it sufficiently tight. The piece that attaches to the indicator itself was particularly troublesome and I struggled to get it to hold the indicator sufficiently tightly in place. Overall this is a decent kit, and I liked that it came in a solid case to keep all the bits together.
