All schleich figures are lovingly hand-painted with detailed modelling and allow children to learn as they play. Elephants cool themselves down by flapping their ears. Asian elephants, however, do not need to have ears as big as their relatives, because they mainly travel in the cool twilight hours or at night. Only the elephant bulls have tusks, which can weigh an impressive 5 kilograms.
