Mixed review here.... Dress is smaller in the waist/ rib cage area than the sizing guide eludes. I normally wear a size 12 dress, and bought 5 dresses in that size, along with this one. There were all different brands, but this is the only one that was too tight in the waist area. I bought a size L, but I would say if you are wearing a size 12, you would need to get size XL in this dress, which they currently dont offer in the red color. I would say that size L would fit dress size 8-10. Other than the size issue, the dress is really cute. The material is heavy and kind of formed so that the dress would actually be shaped like a bell (as in the picture). I really wanted to keep this dress because it is beautiful, but it was just to tight in the rib cage area.

The medium size height and length fit me (5'3" and average US mass, 36C to D) perfectly, and the skirt flared nicely, but the chest area was cut for someone with A or B cup, and the lower chest area hugged my ribs too closely and it was hard to breathe. The armpits were cut WAY too high and without enough give in the sleeves, which I think would be a problem regardless of fit - don't plan on raising your arms at all and have a friend handy to help zip up.The fabric is nice and the pattern and color are wonderful, but it's not a good fit for broad shouldered or large chested people with short upper bodies. I ordered a large to see if it makes a difference, but I suspect the bodice will be too long as the medium was really perfect there.

This dress is gorgeous and I was surprised with how good of quality it is. I'm normally a size 2/4 (height: 5'5" / weight: 120 pounds / bust: 32D) and purchased a small. It fits well in the waist and the length is perfect but the sleeves and shoulders are a little tight making it difficult to raise my arms but I don't find that too big of an issue since I plan on wearing the dress mostly to work events. Very happy with this purchase and definitely recommend!

I loved this dress when I zipped it up and took a look in the mirror. The fit and quality is very, very nice. However, I could not lift up my arms while in the dress because the fabric is very starched and unforgiving. I bought the dress to wear to a wedding but decided to return it because I would be absolutely unable to lift up my arms dancing without showing everyone my underwear.

This was a lovely dress. It was a little short, which would have worked fine for me. I'm 5'3" and it came down to about 2 inches above my knee. I had to return it though. It was too tight in the bust and too big in the waist. I usually wear a Medium but I purchased the large based on the measurements.

This is my favorite dress right now! I got so many compliments on it whenever I wore it outside! There were always people asking me where I got it! I love the fact that it makes me look in a great shape, the length of the dress shows my legs perfectly! It covers my belly as well!!The material of this dress is nice and comfy, it can be washed in the washing machine without shrinking or any other problems!I love all the dresses from this brand, they are very girly!

Good quality and the dress looks nice. I'm 5'1", usually wear a 0 petite, and this was just a little big in the chest and waist area. It was too short for my liking--came about 4 inches above my knee.

The dress is beautiful and would be super flattering on most body types. As the other reviewers mentioned, it’s quite tight in the bust and shoulders. I sized up and am very happy with the fit.
