Very Cute Kit
This project, for what ever reason, did not engage my 7yo crafter after she received it for her “Dragons and Unicorns” themed birthday party. I looked it over and found nothing to explain her disinterest, but she opened it up and never assembled a single piece. The instructions seemed clear, the materials are all brightly colored, and the fabric is soft and cozy feeling. She regularly does craft projects, and may have felt that this was too simple, but I think younger kids would need supervision/help with the embroidery elements for sure. Based solely on my experience, this gets 4-stars averaging 3-stars for not appealing to its target audience and 5-stars for the quality of the materials and instructions.

My daughter loves it
SO fun. My daughter is in heaven with this. She loved that she got to put it together. She is 11 and can sew ok and loved stitching all of this and putting everything where she wanted it to go. As the mom I think it is a little cheep looking and if it ever gets dirty I don't know how I will wash it without it loosing shape or looking a mess after going in the washing machine. I guess I won't worry and I'll just let her enjoy it because she loves it.

Good Fun Unicorn
It is a fun and inexpensive kit.We do love unicorns around here and they are always popular.The had is cute and it is fun to make it.I only wish the fabric was a bit better quality so that the hat wasn't just play dress, but rather a useable and functional hat. It could be with quality fabric.Other than that it is a good kit. It teaches knotting and sewing skills.

Fun activity but not the most durable hat
Got this for my 8 year old, She really enjoyed but needed a little help here & there. Hat was cute in the end but has slowly fallen apart over time. Four stars because she enjoyed the activity but don't rely on this as a truly usable hat.
