You have to see this one in action to really appreciate it!
The media could not be loaded. This ornament is amazing! I don't know if my low res video's going to load but to truly appreciate it, you have to see it in action. If the video doesn't load here try to find the hallmark one on YouTube.This ornament is very well made and very fun. With the batteries you get a white focus light and music-- the "skating" music, not the Christmas Time Is Here. Each crank of the handle gives you a different part of three parts. But the zoetrope action is still really enjoyable without batteries. I've already pulled the crank like 20 times and it still feels very solid.This ornament is heavy at almost a quarter pound and does not come with a hook/loop so be ready for that. It's also just heavy/sturdy enough to need two hands to operate it.Also, if this matters, only the box says 2018, not anywhere on the actual ornament which makes it a timeless gift.I think this would make a wonderful gift to any Peanuts lover.

Great idea but brittle
Loved the action on this one.Did not love how Snoopy on top broke off pretty quickly because he is supported by less than a millimeter of plastic.I get Snoopies for my S.O. every year so this is a major buzzkill. It is also nearly impossible to glue back on due to how top-heavy Snoopy is.

Could not change the battery.
While trying to change the battery, I found out that the mechanism was stuck. After trying so many things, I gave up. The twirling mechanism was hands -on, and when it got put back together after trying to change the battery, it no longer worked, either. I gave up. Hallmark is usually good, and it was priced appropriately. If it had worked and not been jammed.

Disappointing
This isn’t one of Hallmark’s best, that’s for sure! It’s powered by 3 small “button” batteries and motion is activated when the lever is pulled. The skating song only lasts about 3 seconds. I’ve purchased over 25 Keepsake motion ornaments and this is the first one I’ve been disappointed with.

Very nice detail and part of the Charlie Brown series
Christmas ornament by Hallmark Keepsakes....unfortunately I had to return it as it did not spin properly as advertised. The detail of the ornament was very nice and it would have been a great addition to our collection.
