I Love this mug. Beautifully crafted, very large, and holds a lot of coffee. I gave it as a gift and he loves it too. My sister came to visit and guess what...She loved it and might buy one for herself. The only disadvantage to me was the weight. Very heavy but not for my husband. The mug because of what is made out of, keeps everything hot for quite awhile. I would highly recommend this Elephant Mug!

I'm so disappointed. I went to use my mug for the first time. I poured my hot tea and it the mug cracked from top to bottom. I was really looking forward to use my new beautiful mug. Does anyone have the same problem? I want to order another one! Should I? Really disappointed.

Been looking for an oversized mug for along time. Really like this elephant one, the only issue is that it's so tall it won't fit in my microwave unless I remove the glass plate each time.

I bought this mug for my daughter in law, who had requested a HUGE tea mug for Christmas. This cup fits the bill! It is huge, but unlike most of the large mugs available, it is also very useful (Are you really going to use a mug with the circumference of a cereal bowl?)Not only is it tall, but the elephant trunk serves as a very sturdy and comfortable handle. It is well designed, so even though it is quite heavy, my daughter in law found it to be easy to hold and drink from. She also said that her tea stayed hot for a very long time.As I said, this was a gift, so I was thinking ahead of how to wrap it. When it arrived, I realized I had no problems- the mug was in a beautiful, sturdy box, with custom-cut foam inserts that protected the mug and made for a beautiful display. I was seriously impressed at the obvious care that went into the packaging. My first impression was that the mug was a special, high quality treasure- before I even held the mug! The seller also included two cleaning sponges- a nice little bonus.The glaze and colors on the pottery were exquisite. Since each one is handmade, I am sure there are slight differences in each mug, but the one I received was prettier than the pictured mug.I had hesitated purchasing this, because it was a little spendy for what I thought it would be- a sort of "gag gift" to make my daughter in law laugh at the size of the mug. Turns out, this was her favorite present, and she used it constantly for the week they stayed at our house. It truly is a well-made, useable piece of art. I am so glad I got this. I am considering one for myself!

This is a large mug, just as described. It is a bit difficult to hold if your hand is not larger. Bought as gift, their hands bit small for mug handle but cute mug still.

Gave this coffee mug to my husband and he loved it. It is steady, strong and beautifuly made.

First, the positives, this is a very nice coffe mug at a reasonable priceNow the negative, at the bottom of the handle are 2 small holes for nostrils of the “trunk”After a couple weeks of use and dishwasher cleaning, the mugs now leads fluid from these “nostrils”I will try to plug these holesRecommendation:Leave out these holes in the future

This is a very heavy mug! I don't know if there is metal and it is enameled over it or if it is truly a type of porcelain but it is extremely heavy! Men would love it. It holds a true 32 oz with a smidge of space left at rim. I drink a chai tea latte all morning long with it. This would be for your die-hard coffee drinker also. I'm an older woman and it's not meant for us due to the weight but I love it! It comes with its own (cheaply made) sponge on a handle to help wash it. I soak it in hot soapy water for a while after use and then use a long-handled soft dish brush to clean it and it seems to work.
