Scooby-Doo! Mystery Incorporated: Season 2

The greatest Scooby-Doo series ever! Period!As a fanatic of the original "Scooby-Doo Where are you?" series, I'm astounded at the amazing story and quality of this series. I can't believe that I've found something even better than the original.Pros:Outstanding, mature story and themes (very dark, with main character deaths)Broadens the characters without changing their core actions/behaviorsMany hidden references to pop-culture movies and classic TVExplores mature relationship themes without being preachy or sappy (rejection, break-ups, loyalty, friendship, betrayal)Some of the episodes are actually solvable mysteries (Ex, Web of the Dreamweaver)The entire series builds toward a final mystery climaxCons:Some of the characterizations go too far (Fred's obsession with traps over Daphne is a bit much at times)A few episodes take a concept or silliness too far (Ex, When the Cicada Calls)Overall this is an outstanding example of not only a Scooby-Doo series, but also of what animation can offer. This is on par with some of the things coming out of Pixar in terms of story and animation. This is a must-own for any fan of Scooby-Doo, or animation that appeals to adults (as well as kids).

I love the old scooby doos, I go to sleep to them at night they relax me! I never watched the new ones cuz I just assumed they were stupid till I watched this show! It is seriously dark & soooo freakin funny! They go deep into the characters personality! They are all so original but still the same! They just built on top of them plus it has a story going through out so the season ending ends with a bang and resolution! This is my favorite then be cool scooby doo then the old ones! I never thought I would say that! Lol

Scooby Doo Mystery Inc is the best Scooby Doo series ever. Bar none.Season 1 did feel a bit more episodic, especially at the beginning. By the time you get to season 2, you are going to feel like you have missed out on a lot if you pick a random episode to watch without watching all that came before.But this show did reward viewers for sticking with the show and does end spectacularly.And I was very happy to see that Warner Bros released season sets for the show.I was a little disappointed to find that Season 2 had a spindle DVD case instead of a flippy DVD case like season 1. But really, that is a easy price to pay in order to have the entire season set.$20 or less is a GREAT price for this set.

This is my family's absolute favorite of the remakes of the original Scooby-Doo series. It's enough fun for the kids and has no humor and geek references to keep the adults entertained as well. Fun enough to watch again and again. Hands down the best of the new Scooby-Doo series, it holds its own against the original series. My family's only complaint is that they never made a third season as it was really begging for one! Don't forget to order season one also, but forget the garbage new movies they try to add with this as a package, blech.

I personally love Scooby Doo, even though I'm an old person (age 77), and had never been able to find all of this series on TV, so bought it to watch in entirety.

This is the final series of the Mystery Incorporated gang. It goes out with a bang destroying The Most Hauntedest Place on Earth. Supernatural things happen. It all leads up to the evil parrot Prof. Paricles being destroyed also. In the end the gang wins out over the evil entity. What will happen to the gang now with no mysteries to uncover. Will the new Mr. E lead them to new ones. Only time will tell.

I always enjoy Scooby Doo in all the gangs antics. I got this set so I can watch any Scooby movies whenever I want too. They always make me laugh and feel good. Scooby is scared of many things, but it doesn't stop him from being the hero along with Shaggy in many of the episodes too. I have followed all the gangs movies from the start and will continue to enjoy them at my leisure at home.
