I use it to lock my CPAP and back up battery in place. I am an active sleeper and have on occasion pulled on my tube causing my machine to nearly slide off and have knocked my battery to the floor before. The mat has prevented any further incidents and protects my accessories. I had a hard time deciding on what size to order.
