This book is too expencive, buy sunken gardens instead, cheaper and the book much better

Good quality interesting book lovely pictures

While about 75% of this book is amazing high res photos, the rest of the guide is filled with some great information.If you are looking for a complete step-by-step guide then this is NOT the book for you. However, this is a perfect beginners guide and doubles as a beautiful coffee table piece

Excellent service and came with information

My first impression was that the photos get a little to monotonous. I like the images that I have seen at the website. But then I started to get bored really fast because there is hardly any variation in the images. Telling that you have 100 images in a book is ok if you can tell the difference between what you sees.Looking though the book shows James Findley posing next to a aquarium 9 times which starts to get a little fun at last.The last thing that annoys me is that I just paid 35 pounds for book where every picture is a product placement for ADA's products which normally called a brochure.

Without doubt the best and most informative book on the subject that I have ever seen.After having many issues with my tank I have followed the advice in this book and my aquarium is now really showing great improvement after a fun filled re scapeThese guys clearly know their stuff inside out,the amazing photos are from their own displays and when most books on the subject think nothing of repeating information verbatim the knowledge within these pages is obviously gained from true hands on experience in working with the planted tank and by heaven it shows in the results !Thank you TGM for providing my new Aquascaping bible.May I add that all of the photos are amazing and the hardscape information has proven invaluable for my best EVER layout.Also I really am at a loss to see comments stating that the book promotes ADA ,yes ADA products are used in the scapes but after reading the book several times I am unable to find a single written reference to this brand, just great ideas, great photography and THE BEST ADVICE to my mind that is in print.Thank you for a fantastic publication, my aquarium is looking great and my confidence levels have really peaked !THANK YOU !
