This is the best deal that I found for genuine 3M dual lock fastener. I didn't realize there was a low profile version, so I wasn't sure whether I was going to like it, but just cut a couple pieces off and stuck something to my motorcycle and it's awesome ....it mounts flush as opposed to sticking out with the regular dual lock..

Have used this tape on several projects to fasten LED strip lighting. Hasn't failed yet.

Better than 'hook & loop (velcro). More durable to rip loss than fasten over & over. Holds more per inch too.

They used to have this at Wally World. Still do, but online. I go to Wally's because I need it now. If I gotta get it online, I'll get it from Amazon.The 1" wide roll is best, I think. If you wanna stick a satellite receiver or cell phone to a dash or something, all you need is one square inch at either end. This stuff holds like crazy, and you can remove and replace as much as you want, without the connecting mushrooms degrading like hook-n-loop.

When I opened the box I thought this might be a knock off 3m product based on the odd packaging. Maybe it is, but after using it to mount some IT equipment I'm ok with it, as it seems to work very well.

I have used the regular 3m dual lock before and maybe that spoiled me. This time however I did not want something so thick that would stand off the surface so high so I ordered this low profile instead. Yes the adhesive was great, the color was clear so you hardly noticed them BUT trying to get these to mate up was nearly impossible. I waited too long to use it so they can't be returned. Will reorder the normal kind.

This showed up in search for the regular dual lock like local hardware store sells and I have bought on Amazon before. It's very low strength and thin -- which is exactly not what I wanted. It's fine for what it is, but if you are looking for the regular 3M/Scotch branded dual lock, this is not it and it won't mate with regular dual lock either. Make sure you are buying what you want.

I had really high hope for this.We have a 407 transponder that stays on with this tape. So it works very well for some applications.But I have a magnetic mount I had attached to the vehicle. On hit data it heads up and the original adhesive comes loose. I though by using a long strip of this tape it would have more surface area and not come loose. But on hot data the same thing happens with this adhesive.The good news is because this is dual lock I can take off all the weight on hot days so everything remains in place.So a good tool in your arsenal, but not a magic bullet.

Bought this to secure my portable audio dac/amp to my phone. Totally works in this application, and very secure. It takes a good amount of force to remove it when I want to take it off of my phone case. A bit pricey (I paid about $30 for 10ft) but it often goes on sale for less. Very satisfied!

Anything from 3M is great when it comes to tape. I use it for a bunch of things around the house and not one piece has come off yet.

Use this velcro anywhere. The glue sticks to many different surfaces and works amazing.
