Cat USB Speaker- Wired Speaker 2.0 Channel Small Computer Desktop Phone Speaker for PC, Echo Dot, Updated Version- WEIYATS (Green)

I bought this cat speaker as a stop gap when my Logitech clip on speakers quit working. Installation was really easy. The only thing is for the speaker to work the audio jack has to be plugged into the correct port. I incorrectly plugged the pointy connection into the headphone jack, not the audio jack, so at first I was upset. I realized my mistake and corrected it. The speakers are really LOUD, but there is a volume control on the cables which is handy. The sound is clear, not muffled or distorted. No crackles or pops. I think this speaker will be a permanent addition, not a stop gap. They are so darned CUTE.

The only real downsides to this speaker is the fact that the speaker is on the back of the head instead of on the front of the body, so the sound isn't projecting towards you. I remedied this simply by having the back of the speaker facing a solid surface and standing a few inches away from the solid surface so the sound would bounce back out at me. The other downside is that the cord is very short, so you have very limited range with where you can put this speaker without having to buy an extension with a USB adapter. It also does not come with a brick to plug into the wall, so if you are intending on plugging this into an outlet, make sure you have a spare brick or you buy one.On to the good qualities: The sound is actually very clear and crisp. The basses are bassy, the tenors are sharp, and all around the sound quality is really good. I hear no crackle or static sounds nor do I hear that obnoxious shrill screeching sound that some cheap speakers are plagued by when they actually play audio. This is coming from someone who has a surround sound speaker set up on every TV and computer in my house now handing judgement down on a single source speaker. If it wasn't for the 3 downsides I listed above, this speaker would easily be a 5/5 stars. I bought this for work so I would have a very simple set up that could be quickly and easily moved if need be, so this is perfect for my needs. It just so happens to have the added bonus of being really cute.

Everyone who comes in my office comments on the cat eyes that glow to the beat of the music. Cute replacement for a broken speaker and if you don't mind the wires, it's fine. I like that it runs from the USB and I don't have to plug it into a power source.

I got this for my daughter because her school laptop had poor sound. This is an improvement in sound, and it looks nice on her desk. The eyes light up with the sounds that play, which is fun for my daughter. I did have to change some computer settings to get the sound to come out of the main speaker rather than the volume control (so others might have to also). It's no surround sound system, but it is good for the one speaker.

The Echo Dot was not quite loud enough to for me in the kitchen. I wanted a small speaker to give the Echo a bost. This is louder than the Dot and I am happy. This cat is pretty Big. The picture doesn't do it justice. Only thing i wish for a bigger cord to connect and move around my work desk in all I am very happy with my purchased and the price I feel like I should have paid more my coworkers love her!!!

I bought this because my previous speakers made a very loud static noise whenever I changed the volume, and these don't do that at all! What attracted me the most was the cat part, DUH, but it's a really good speaker! Someone in other reviews said you can't turn the glowing eyes off, but they turn really dim if you put the volume all the way down. Love this speaker so much!

I work remotely from my home office, so having a usb speaker is ideal. I can go from a computer-based video call to a phone call quickly by just switching the headphone jack on this guy. I love cats, so I definitely don't mind the size! It's fun to watch the eyes light up with the changing sounds.
