Thermo Sensitive Memory Foam Seat Cushion

I've used this cushion happily for about 2 yrs. Helpful that its 2 parts are linked together by a plastic piece that makes the cushion useful for carrying from place to place. I use it only in the car, but toss it into the passenger seat when my husband wants to drive, as he doesn't need it. One day recently the plastic piece that connects the back rest from the bottom part snapped. Also, the fabric on the edges of the seat cushion wore away. So, I'd get a new one, as I've not seen anything that both lifts one "up" as well as supports the back, but it won't last forever. P.S. I did buy a new one and it broke, too!! That's the end of my buying this product.

I sit a LOT for my job. I'm slightly overweight, like most US citizens, but not grossly so, so the cushion is somewhat narrow for my behind. I don't mind it much though, it's just mostly an issue settling into the chair upon sitting down. (A good constant reminder to refuse that 3PM snack urge.)There is an absence of cushion at the tailbone, which relieves ALL pressure - probably the best feature of this product.Additionally, it is very WARM, reflecting back my body heat, which is a huge plus as my office space tends to be very chilly.

This product would be great if it were a bit wider (the seat part is only 16" wide--very narrow) and if they would not have the back part that I was not expecting. Believe the picture - it has a back and a seat--the description does not describe this. I was caught unaware. I ordered this for a replacement for another cushion that did not work and now I am having to return this one right away as well. Don't think you can save money by trying a cheaper cushion. Just get the one that has the high marks and is a name brand. I am disappointed.

I had back surgery recently, and thought this cushion would be a help for my back. It's just okay--the upper cushion is very stiff and I find that part uncomfortable. The seat (bottom cushion), is quite comfortable. I suggest that the back should have a bit more "give" to it.

The Thermo Memory Foam Seat Cushion is effective in relieving minor back pain and is quite comfortable. The plastic structure joining the 2 cushions broke after 1-2 weeks of use, but the cushions can be used without the structure or individually.

I can't say enough about how much comfort this cushion gave my late husband. We owned three of these, one for work, one for home, and one for his seat in synagogue. After his passing, I gave them to three friends who have back problems, and they all found the cushion very helpful. What makes it so useful is that the back, being attached to the seat cushion, stays in place. Also, because it isn't slippery, you don't slide forward like you do on some wedge-shaped cushions. We read about some people having trouble with the joining piece breaking, so my husband was careful, but none of ours broke during the year he used them.

This is the third Thermo Sensitive memory foam seat cushion I have purchased. I have one in each car and use them regularly This third seat cushion was a gift for a family member, and she loves it. She is really getting a lot of use out of it. It's so portable, she is able to take it and use it on any chair and most chairs(especially restaurants' chairs do not have lumbar support which is so important for your back when sitting.) My only complaint is the plastic carrying handle does break after awhile, and we wind up using heavy tape to bind it together. Hopefully this won't happen to the gift cushion too soon!

My car's cushioning is starting to go so I got this to help with comfort. Probably good for petite people looking for a boost up, but too firm for me.
