TruVibe - 100% Raw Organic Maca Powder - 8 oz (8oz)

Tastes better than at least one other popular brand I have tried. It actually does resemble a caramel taste, sort of. Also mixes and dissolves in liquid very well. The price is right. I think it does help give me an extra lift, in more ways than one. . .

I love the saying on this little bag of maca "Live Your Dreams!" I initially noticed it because of this but then, when I saw all the good reviews and the price, I decided to take a chance and buy it. My video goes into more detail about why people use maca but I use it to help balance out my hormones and it just tastes so great! I've never ordered from this company before but I really like what they have to say. I've had this since May 25th and it's now June 6th and I have used it about 5X in a blender along with other items (acai, almond milk, almond butter, a bit of banana, pumpkin fiber, hemp oil etc.) and it helps keep me full and tastes amazing. I am not sure how much it helps my overall health but I am in really good health already and take this more as a supplement. I do think it helps me feel more energized for sure though and I would also sprinkle this on my yogurt/cereal etc. because it's THAT yummy! Also, LOW in carbs for those of you on a higher protein diet and 2 teaspoons is only 35 calories - me likey!P.S. in my video, I make mention of how many buy this as an "enhancement" to their lives/energy - maca is also known as the "Peruvian Ginseng"...which is supposed to increase endurance and fertility :-) So maybe those of you wanting to start a family out there might check this out!

I am new to the use of Maca Powder. I had never heard of it before it was suggested by Amazon because I was purchasing TruVibe Organic Raw Cacao and TruVibe Chia seeds. I read about the benefits and decided it was worth a try. I take a variety of supplements and have switched my diet to a more plant based diet. I am not a vegetarian but eat much less meat. My first use of Maca Powder was to add the suggested serving size, 2 teaspoons, to my morning smoothie. I didn't really like the way it tasted. After some reading online I found that it is better in savory foods like tomato soup for example. I added some today to my bowl of Gold Star Chili and it blended well. I have also added it to my oatmeal along with TruVibe raw cacao powder, flax and chia seeds and it worked well there. My suggestion is to start with half the recommended serving and experiment until you find a food or drink that will work for your taste. The results were immediate as far as having more energy. In what I have read about the use of maca power it was suggested to start slow. You can't really over dose, but it's a good idea to try it at half a serving to see how you feel. I believe that maca power along with TruVibe cacao have lowered my blood glucose level quite a bit. I had been testing at very close to being type 2 diabetic of the past few years. My doctor prescribed a glucometer so I could test my blood glucose level at home a few times per week to help me adjust my diet and activity to improve my condition. I believe that adding cacao and maca powder have really helped. I recommend TruVibe. The products are of high quality and the packaging is great. As they say, their packaging is infused with positivity. First thing in the morning my cacao, maca and chia seeds tell me this: Art is Life, Live Your Dreams, Just Do It! How is that for a great start to your day! I say it's awesome. I am very happy that I have tried this product. I am almost out of my cold milled flax and will certainly order my next package from TruVibe.

Great price and a great product. I love the taste of maca and I trust Truvibe the brand to be fair-trade, and pure. I feel great when eating this maca. I put it in coffee, smoothies, on yogurt and make incredible cacao maca truffles and fudge with it. They need bulk options!

I bought this to use with their Cacao powder in my protein Shakes and can highly recommend it. This was a very good combination!!! It gives me an extra feeling of sustainable endurance without feeling stung out. Mixed with Cacao the taste is agreeable as it becomes somewhat bland.I started with 1/4 teaspoon and now use 1/2 teaspoon in my Shake and this for my work out feels just right.

No clumps at all. Very fluffy, tastes great. Nice thick resealable package. Beige color. I attach a photo of the powder with flash of the camera and one without flash. I find the taste matches cocoa powder very well. I mix unflavored whey isolate, raw cocoa, ground flax seeds, ceylon cinnamon, maca, l-lysine, l-tyrosine, potassium citrate, taurine, l-serine, all in hot water. I cannot detect the taste of maca at all (1 teaspoon in that mix)

Although it claims to be a 'super food' there's nothing on the package to substantiate that claim. It contains almost 0% of all the standard nutrients or protein. It's mostly just carbs, leading me to believe the 'miracle' plant from which it's made is basically equivalent to a potato. That said, it's wonderful for making smoothies really, really smooth. I add a heaping tablespoon to my daily workout shake and it makes them so creamy it's almost addictive. That's why this is a re-buy.

I like the package design.I am a heavy coffee drinker This powder gives me same effect of double shots of espresso. I feel refreshed after drinking a teaspoon of maca and honey in hot water. I ordered two more packages later.
