The shampoo is a little dense, so I would use a dime sized amount to wash my hair twice. The conditioner is lighter in terms of weight than the shampoo. I can instantly feel the moisturizing effect as I apply the conditioner to the ends of my hair. The fragrance of the shampoo and conditioner is sweet and can be a little intense at first but after multiple uses, the fragrance is pleasant and not overwhelming. I can go about three days without washing my hair and my hair still smells good. Good to see there are no harsh sulfates or other added chemicals that create too much or unnecessary lather. There is some lather when you rub it in your hands first before applying to your scalp—which is nice feedback to know that it’s working. I did not experience much hair loss at first use, but after using it a while, I did experience an average amount of hair loss but not too much so it is normal and not concerning. My hair feels clean and fresh after every wash so it is highly effective and worth spending a few dollars more for quality.
