I only got this a couple of hours ago and first impressions are that it's great. My first thought on unpacking it (it's very well packed) was that it was just about the perfect size - not too small, but not huge either - that applies to both the unit and the speakers, and it looks good too.. Set up was simple; you don't really need the instructions. Personally I don't think the remote is too small or cheap looking. It just seems what I'd have expected. and it works pefectly. I don't know if Roxel have made some adjustments since some of the other reviews were written, but there is no time lag whatsoever on mine. It started up instantly, defaulting to the cd player and then switched instantly to the usb via the remote. Sometimes usb players don't give any written info , but this one scrolls through the item playing along with artists etc in lovely large clear letters. I 'm personally not too bothered about the Dab radio, but I think it's pretty obvious that anypnyonene wanting good reception would need a better aerial than the bit of wire that's provided, although I haven't actually tried it. Finally, and probably most importantly, is that it sounds absolutely fantastic on both cd and usb with both pre set equaliser and separate bass and treble controls as well.- far better than I was expecting from something in this price category.

This system offers everything you need in a neat and attractive package. The speakers are solid and have some weight to them. There is a bass port at the back of them and it definitely adds some really nicely balanced bass to the sound. The sound is crystal clear and the bass and treble controls on the front of the main unit help tune the sound over and above the preset equalizer sounds. They fit really nicely on the speaker stands I had for my previous stereo. I'm still playing about with positioning to have optimal sound from my listening chair! Bluetooth connectivity is very straight forward. I've taken off the equalizer setting on my streaming service so the hifi is in full control of the sound. It has a headphone socket! Amazing. The reception for the DAB+ radio is also crystal clear. I'm so thrilled with it and it is such a great price point. I would highly recommend this brand.

As the former manager of several hi-fi shops, I wanted something that was high quality but cheap and compact. I suspected I wouldn't find anything but along came this Roxel. I decided to assemble and operate (inclouding the remote) without reading the manual. If I succeeded, I knew I had a winner. I did. Everything is intuitive and very easy to operate. (I did read the manual in the end and it's in good English rather than the more common translated nonsense!). Audio quality is so good that my neighbour was convinced I had a subwoofer hidden somewhere, and he immediately ordered an identical unit. (This sounds made up but it isn't.) To say I am happy with the set is an understatement. It takes a USB stick, CD, bluetooth (which then works with the remote) and a turntable (with an outboard RIAA amplifier) via a 3.5mm jack. (Well, nobody's perfect.) DAB and FM sensitivity are good, the indoor aerial supplied is good as well, although there;'s no substitute for an outdoor aerial and this has a proper aerial socket for one. To be honest I thought I would buy this and see - it was so cheap I could afford to send it for recycling if it turned out to be rubbish - but I wouldn';t part with it for anything. A rare and genuine gem.

Very good and powerful sound. Sleek look and nicely built. My only regret is that it could read only 999 mp3 files via USB. Overall, I am happy with it. I am just wishing it's an original UK Roxel and not a grade five productfrom China. I guess time will tell

Purchased the Roxel system to replace my Technics seperates Hi-Fi which finally died recently. And so glad that I did. I looked at many branded mini hi-fi systems which seemed to be lacking in spec or overpriced for the facilities on offer. Plus many simply did not have the punch even if they ticked all of the other boxes. This compact and well designed Hi-Fi system is an absolute winner, and in my opinion offers far more in spec than any other brand for such a good price. It is very well made and packs the punch that I was looking for to replace my old Technics system. Great sound from such compact speakers, and is very easy to set up and use. Just an observation to the manufacturer, I wish the remote could be larger as it is rather dinky for a mans big fingers. Apart from that the remote is functionally very good. I purchased a proper DAB aerial at the same time. Worth it to get the best out of the DAB radio! What more can I say other than this is a quality product and it is BRITISH!!!!
