Review: A Feast For Mr. Burns Fans - This really is Mr. Burns' season. We see a lot of him in many excellent episodes, such as "Homer Goes To College", the hillarious "Rosebud" Bobo episode, as a Copolla vampire in "Treehouse of Horror", "The Last Temptation of Homer", in a tribute to Howard Hughes and his jars of urine in the "$prinfield..." gambling episode, "Burns' Heir" has to be the best of the season, and as a potential beau for Marge's Mother in "Lady Bouvier's Lover". In fact this is one of the best Simpson's seasons. Perhaps one will find "Bart's Elephant" a bit slow, but the rest are solid stories and very funny. ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | Contributor | Hank Azaria, Harry Shearer, Matt Groening, Nancy Cartwright | | Customer Reviews | 4.6 out of 5 stars 245 Reviews | | Genre | Animation | | Language | English | | Number Of Discs | 4 | | Runtime | 1 hour and 32 minutes | ## Product Details - **Genre:** Animation - **Contributor:** Hank Azaria, Harry Shearer, Matt Groening, Nancy Cartwright - **Language:** English - **Number Of Discs:** 4 - **Runtime:** 1 hour and 32 minutes ## Images ![The Simpsons: The Complete Season 5 (4-Disc Box Set) - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/819UPxh7jZL.jpg) ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Buena serie. Conan O' Brien Produced some of this season as well as last season before he got his own late night show and had to leave. He does, however make a cameo appearance in "Bart gets Famous". A little FYI for ya! This season contains 22 episodes and won the Annie Award for Best Animated Television Production, Environmental Media Award for Best Television Episodic Comedy, and a Genesis Award for Best Television Comedy Series with 4 Emmy nominations as well. This season has more episodes (great ones too) based on Homer. Episodes such as "Deep Space Homer" Homer Simpson an astronaut!?... Why not! Add it to his long listed resume of jobs. "Homer the Vigilante" A crime spree hits Springfield with dozens of burglaries by the cat burglar. This causes Flanders to form a meeting to organize a neighborhood watch and of course, Homer ends up the leader of the group with the power going to his head. "Homer goes to College" Yup, Homer gets to live up the party frat guy life! or so he thinks as he has been influenced a bit too much by college party movies. "Secrets to a Successful Marriage" Homer a teacher for a successful marriage class? Oh the things we'll learn! There are a few more, but it's clear to see that Homer is main dude now which I have absolutely no problem with! I love Homer! Special features contain commentaries for all episodes, audio outtakes, original sketches, deleted scenes, commercials featuring The Simpsons, animation showcases, "A Look Back" featurette with James L. Brooks, and an introduction by Matt Groening. This season is great for Homer fans especially. It will have you shouting "Whoo-Hooo!" Well it did for me! If you get this, enjoy your Simpsons season 5 set! Mmmmm..... Siiiiimpsons! ## Frequently Bought Together - The Simpsons: The Complete Season 5 (4-Disc Box Set) - The Simpsons: The Complete Season 4 (4-Disc Box Set) --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.be/products/76406451-the-simpsons-the-complete-season-5-4-disc-box-set](https://www.desertcart.be/products/76406451-the-simpsons-the-complete-season-5-4-disc-box-set) --- *Product available on Desertcart Belgium* *Store origin: BE* *Last updated: 2026-10-10*
