The Positives: A 3/4" can indeed spread allot of water, In which we all need.However the Negs: This unit falls short in design, in one thing are the pins to hold the sprinkler in position are not stable or stiff enough, and is constantly changing position, although the base being secured on the ground!It also gets stuck in a single position while water pressure is more than adequate for function!I will keep working with this head and see if there is anything I can fine tune in order to make it work as it should.I would say, Make sure you have plenty of water pressure to use this unit to begin with, But with that try to find a way to keep the key positions in place in the swing pattern... I will work with this unit further to see if I can unfold anything else with this particular head.Material wise, It does seem to be built well, However the Keys are constantly moving, thus shifts the water position from where you have dictated it to go and stop.

Works great! I'm not getting anywhere near the 106ft diameter stated but I'm still pretty happy with it. Our faucet leaks a little so I'm not sure how much that is affecting it at the moment, but once I get that replaced I will update my review if it makes enough of a difference. I have to move the basic orbit oscillating type sprinkler I've been using 4 or 5 times to get the coverage this thing gets, so while I'm not thrilled about not getting at least 90ft or so, it's still much better than what I was using before. I plan to try some of the other sprinklers that are half or less the price of this one to see how close they get to their stated range. I'll post back with the results.Our back yard is exactly 100ft and I get maybe 50-75ft depending on where I have the pin set to get more of a mist for a newly seeded lawn, which is why I purchased it. I couldn't get over 70-75ft with everything fully open. I will say that even with the water turned about halfway down it still seemed to reach just as far so I think you could definitely use more than one and still get pretty great coverage, but the reason I purchased this one in particular, at a much greater cost, was so I wouldn't have to buy more than one and connect them.

Excellent sprinkler that puts out the water. With that said,we are on a well and have found that we cannot run several sprinklers at once when this Rainwave is being used.For example: instead of three hoses going, we only use two.I will say that the first Rainwave we received was broken upon delivery. I emailed Amazon and another was sent immediately. Excellent customer service!Look to have this sprinkler last a long time as it is well built.No cons on this item.

Hooked it up and started leaking. Sprayed in a pattern for about 3 hours then got stuck in one location. Have a two horse power pump and have had no problem with gilmour large sprinkler head similar to this. Do not buy, it's junk.

This thing has an awesome range on it, I have a huge back yard and I can get about 90% of it with this sprinkler. My concern with the unit is that after 2 weeks it looks like the base is starting to rust which is weird. I was expecting this to last longer.
