13 Cameras

Worth the time.
Slow burner. The ending was comical in a morbid way. When you're bored and lookin for time to kill it's a good one.

Creepy
The acting was mediocre except the creepy landlord. Whoever played him excelled at creepiness and nastiness. The storyline was well defined. The ending bizarre. Still not a total waste of time to watch but if you miss this one, it's no loss.

What nightmares are made of!
Yes, it's very very slow.. but a major creep fest!! Definitely worth watching! When I went back to remove this from my watch list, I found that there is a "sequel" entitled "14 Cameras"! I'm going to lose some serious sleep tonight, but it will be worth it!

Creepy and slow
You find out who the creepy antagonist is, right away. But you are distracted by the character flaws in the subplot.

Unbelievably better than expected...
Really really really good stuff...Good acting, great story. Interesting story...lots of plot lines. Hard to tell what goes where.Creepy from beginning to end. You can just SMELL the "bad guy" from the first time you see him. And feel him...and, oh boy, do you "feel" him...Great stuff. I'll be watching for this team in the future.

Skin-crawly
I liked it. Suspenseful and kinda skin-crawly. Being a landlord in a WAY over-priced city, I know how deeply sleazy some of us can be. My one question: would any over-entitled yuppies really be desperate enough to rent from Ed Gein and Karl Childer's love-child who also supposedly "smells like dirty diapers"? Just saying.

Light On Horror/Heavy On Soap Opera, Cliches
Wow! "Psycho" meets "The Guiding Light." Only this garbage is even less entertaining than that sounds. Hubby cheats on pregnant wifey, they argue a lot, other woman does the "Fatal Attraction" bit. Meanwhile, a repulsive psycho straight out of repulsive psycho central casting watches said couple(s) argue, shower and have sex(TV-14 level with some super-brief nudity) via elaborate, camera setup and there's this secret room and...oh, you can figure it out. I can't believe I just dropped over $8 (including tax) on this amateur hour waste of time/money (Amazon, for goodness sake!). Once again, I should have gone by the IMDB rating and saved my money and brain cells. Indie films are always hit or miss--this was a definite miss. Throw in high school drama club-level acting, terrible writing and editing that appears to have been done with a chainsaw...well, you have been warned. The super-icky poster art pretty much sums up the movie (a sweaty ogre munching on duct tape--for real?). If the premise interests you, watch the vastly-superior "Alone With Her" or "The Den." From now on, if I choose to watch bad, indie horror films, I'll stick with Netflix Streaming.

Crazy killer.
You will enjoy this one. The killer is so crazy, I wondered what he is like in real life.
