We purchased this Bagmine 45 liter soft-side collapsible cooler bag primarily to keep in our car to transport refrigerated and frozen groceries from the store /warehouse back home.The exterior of the bag comes in an attractive gray water-repellent fabric. It does repel water. It has a sturdy carry strap and two side handles which is very helpful in carrying a heavy load. The exterior bottom of the bag is reinforced with a black waterproof coating which will also prevent the bag from sliding.The bag does collapse very easily and can easily be stored in the car when not in use. However, there is nothing the holds the bag all together in the collapsed position (like a strap with Velcro or an elastic strap or a zipper.) In collapsing the bag, the top / lid of the bag (which has the zipper) simply folds over the bag but is not held in place by anything. The zipper on the top of the bag is only used to close the bag when it is in use but not in its collapsed position. There is also nothing that holds the carrying handle straps in place, so they can flop around when the bag is collapsed. These are basically design issues.The inside of the bag is lined with a reflective aluminum film. It also has a removable reinforced bottom (covered with the aluminum film) that adds structure to the bag. The film inside the bag will make it easy to clean up any spills with a damp cloth. We only used “blue ice” inside the bag. Not sure if the inside of the bag is leak proof so we wouldn’t recommend using ice.The bag is large and sturdy and will hold a good amount of food.So aside from some design issues, the bag is not bad.

I purchased this cooler for our many camping trips.The good:I purchased this cooler because we used to have a similar, soft sided one that we loved. I love how you can fold this up for easy storage. The inside is lined with plastic, so if food or beverages leak, it's an easy clean up. The handles on the sides makes for easy transport, especially when you pack this full and its heavy. We were able to stuff this pretty full and has the ability to expand a little unlike hard sided coolers. There are straps on the inside of the lid that will hold other items such as utensils, table cloth, etc. We traveled 3.5 hours to our destination and our food was still cold (we packed all sides with ice packs).The bad:No shoulder strap that would aid in easier transport. This cooler is more long than it is tall, and this is my fault for not measuring. The cooler definitely looks bigger in the picture, but it gets the job done. The color is very light, so it will show dirt.All in all, pretty decent cooler. I do love the soft sided coolers way better than the hard sided. I would recommend this, but maybe spend a little more and purchase a size up from this!

We travel a lot & pack this in our suitcase to have while we are away. It collapses down nicely. The only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5, is there is not a snap or something to keep it collapsed. Once I get it in the bottom of the suitcase & pack on top of it, no problem, but I wish there was a way to keep it compact. It works perfectly for 2 to 4 of us for picnics on the road. We pack a couple of gallon zip lock bags, fill them with water & freeze them when we get there, for ice packs.

In all fairness, it works well at keeping stuff cool for the trip home from the grocery store etc.. The only issue for us is when loading it with groceries. The sides are too flexible and one hand has to hold the side while the other is trying to maneuver stuff into the bag. I think this is to facilitate folding the bag flat when not in use, but for our use I prefer a stiffer side. Otherwise its good.

I am extremely happy for my intent usage of this bag; grocery runs with a few stops in between. This is a good looking bag in gray color. We went grocery shopping tonight testing out this bag, then went for an hour foot massage follow by dinner. Everything stay cooled as expected it’s January... Capacity of this bag is impressive (see photo). The bag held its shape well as there’s a removable hard/insulated padding that sits at the bottom of the bag which helps to distribute weight of content.

i really wanted to like this bag, and i still kind of do, however it did not hold up for one summer of camping. we only used it a handful of times and the inner lining has already ripped out of it. can’t complain about the size for the price your paying but honestly it’s probably better to just save up and get a sturdier cooler. worked really well for spending a day on the river but not much outside of that.

This cooler bag is awesome! First of all, it’s totally collapseable for easy storage, which is a nice feature. The bag is also huge...you could for 6 gallon jugs of milk inside!! So it’s got plenty of room for everything! The bottom has a sturdy removable bottom piece that comes out for easy cleaning or storage. The zipper part on the front is useful for your keys or small items like chapstick. Great insulated bag. Overall a great bag that will part of our picnic fun!

This cooler is meant to be used as a can cooler, but it functions extremely well as a cold bag for transporting cold items home from the grocery store! The bag comes in handy when I go to costco because the nearest costco to me is an hour away. The bag is very well made and is sturdy. I am looking forward to using it as a can cooler when the warm weather comes around.
