Electronic Rotating Tie Rack TR200

We are still moving into our new house... boxes have been everywhere for months... Nevertheless, my husband needed to hang his ties so I ordered the electronic rotating tie rack (TR200) as a Father's Day gift and only recently had the opportunity to install it. The tie rack worked "okay" before I installed it, so I had my husband put his ties on the tie rack.Much to my dismay, after he took the time to color-code all of his ties on the newly installed TR200, the tie rack will not rotate and now I can't return the product. I'm VERY reluctant to order another product of this type online and lost the cost of this product and shipping charges too. My worst fears about ordering products online comes true!!! A complete waste of time and money...

DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME WITH THIS PRODUCT. I bought this one to replace a different brand rack (unfortunately no longer made). Very flimsy and cheaply made. I loaded about 20 ties onto the rack and as it turned, the ties all fell off one by one. The clips are part of a continuous belt that rotates around the rack. When the ties get to the side of the rack, the belt falls off dropping the ties on the floor. I spent an hour trying different "fixes" but no luck. The material is just too inferior. Save yourself a lot of time and grief and stay away from this one.

I agree with every bad comment that was made about this product. This does deserve a rating a fat goose egg 00000. I didn't know how to turn the ionizer on or off. I called AMAZON. They referred me to the company that referred me to the importer who claim it was the RETAILER'S problem. The importer had me do several test nothing worked. He told me that I needed to changed the batteries and that if the IONIZER is on it would drain the battery. We could not find how to turn on/off the IONIZER. When I called the Importer I talked to a lady who told me what to do. It did not work so I called back and after a long discussion she transferred me to a tech person who had me do test on the tie rack. Then he told me that I needed special batteries but could not tell me what kind. I used the rechargeable NI-CD/NI MH and regular and none of them worked for the IONIZER to tell if it was on or off. Then I was told to tell the Retailer mine was defective. I called the Retailer back and he said they don't carry that importer's product any longer. The retailer was called Bountiful or something close to that name.I had a Sharper Image which worked. I had my closet redone and the idiot cut the belt on my Sharper Image tie rack. The only good thing about this tie rack is that it fit the round and oblong clothes racks with adapters same as Sharper Image. The best one that would fit my rack was Sharper Image. Sharper Image also had a pull out tray that you could fasten to the back wall which would help stabilize the rack. AMAZON should look into this and if the company can't get this to work take it off the market. The distributer for this junk should not advertise on AMAZON.I started editing this and it got lost in my computer system so two of these rating may appear. Hopefully this will help someone. I keep recharged batteries and when I need a tie I put the batteries in and let it run and when I get the one I want I but the batteries back in the charger.I saw one on line at Brookstone so I asked my neighbor who's friend work at Brookstone and he said that Brookstone and Sharper Image (SI) are the same company although SI went out of business by name.

This works pretty good but it is pretty slow. I like how you don't have to uninstall it to replace the batteries but it is still kinda hard to do with all the ties on it.

A zero rating would be more appropriate. I ordered two at the same time. Neither worked. Sent them back for a refund.

My husband was extremely frustrated with his old tie rack so he did some research and found this one. He's had no problems with it whatsoever, and it definitely has cut down the level of stress in the mornings.
